This morning, I got up and did laundry & cooked bacon for you, before you & Daddy even stirred. When I came back into our room, you were both in the same position, looking like twins, again! You came to find me when you woke up. You showered with me and then you were sooo cold, you wanted to jump back in my bed, get under the covers & watch TV. We snuggled in bed for a bit & you were excited to have such a huge stack of pillows behind you.
You ran around in my shirt all morning, then helped me cook pancakes & hashbrowns. During and after breakfast, you were playing with everything it seemed. After we finished, we jumped in the car to drive Dave to show him the lot. You said “the old house is where we live now. The new house is here!” I love how excited you are and that you understand the concept that we will be moving. I have planned and dreamed of this house being the perfect home for you to grow up in. Plenty of space for you and lots to do – pool, boat dock, etc. I hope it is as perfect as I picture it today!
When we got home, we put your beans & seeds from school in a jar, so we can watch them sprout. You helped Daddy clean the garage and scrub the garbage cans. Daddy made us lunch and we worked on your cutting projects. I made a construction paper fish and you approved of my project! You also did your Rainbow Koala Crate project with Daddy. You stuffed the cloud pillow and assembled the felt rainbow by yourself! Then you & I made your rainbow tote bag together.
You wanted leftover pancakes for dinner & thought it was hilarious to have breakfast again! We snuggled on the couch together, watched a little TV, then did 2 Italian Lingos before you curled up in my arms and drifted off to sleep. It was a dreary & rainy day, but that didn’t stop us from having fun. We had a few fun “home days” and I’m so glad we did!
I love you so much!
