Today was a big day for all of us – transfer day! You were sleeping so sweetly that I hated to even go wake you up, but I had to. You were excited to see Jackie before we headed off to school. You preferred to go to work with her, but off to school we went. You wanted to watch Masha & the Bear Mermaid episode again in the car. I was reluctant because I don’t want to lost the time to talk and sing together in the car, but I let you watch just that one segment. After that we chatted. I love our morning rides together.
When I got back home, Daddy & I went to the transfer. I had an acupuncture treatment before and after. Everything went beautifully and we are so excited and hopeful that this was successful. There’s nothing in the world I want more than to give you a sibling. I know you will be an amazing big sister, given the opportunity. You love babies so much and love to show them how to play with toys. In two long weeks, we will know the outcome!
We both came to pick you up from school and you were surprised and excited. You were very happy to show Daddy what you made him for Father’s Day. When we got home, Daddy was showing you how to putt with your golf club and you were very excited about that! You went outside to sit on the porch because you wanted to wait for Jackie to get home.
I don’t know what I did, but you notice a big cut on my leg that was bleeding. You ran to get the band-aid kit and were happy to put medicine and a band-aid on my boo-boo.
When Jackie got home we began to make pasta. Auntie Rina brought Victor and you were happy to show him your toy room and play with him. You guys raced your paw patrol remote control cars, watched Incredibles II and roughhoused for a while. Daddy took you to bed when they left, but it was around 10:30p. We all had an amazing day. It was fun to celebrate with our friends and making dinner.
I love you sooooo much!
