7/17/20 – Flying Planes in Panties

This morning I woke up before you, in your bed. I went to shower & get ready and when you woke up, you came to my bathroom, dressed and ready for the day! You had on your Steelers jersey (backwards), panties & you superhero mask you made at school. You brushed your hair and teeth, excited you had done your jobs! You wanted to play with your glider plane, so we took it outside to fly it. You threw it so high it landed on the roof. Daddy had to get out the fishing pole (with the kite on it) to get it down! He left for work & we played for a little while longer. Emmy, a neighbor girl who is 2 years old, was walking with her nanny & stopped to chat. You showed her how to throw the plane. Ms. Sandy arrived & also played with us. You let everyone take a turn throwing the plane.

We went inside & you tried on your new fishing hat, which is completely adorable. I had to run to work, but I came back home to have a picnic lunch with you & Ms. Sandy. She brought pork carnitas tacos for you guys to share and you were so excited to make “Poppos tacos” at home! We sat on the lanai and had a great time. It was so nice to get to do this since you have been out of school. I have really missed having lunch with you.

You guys changed your clothes, took the glider back outside & did your new bodies project & made a skeleton. I got home from work & you & Daddy were watching Lion King upstairs. I made pasta & you wanted to play rather than eat. Recently, you have started sitting with your legs crossed & it cracks me up. It came out of nowhere.

After dinner we went outside to watch the amazing sunset that was happening. When it got dark, we lit the fire pit and played with your Lion King characters. Shortly after 9, we went to the potty to get ready for bed. You took your new Frozen mask and put it on your giant duck. You are so silly. We went to bed, snuggled and you were asleep in 10 minutes. I didn’t realize how tired you were! Your hands were folded on your chest and you were so peaceful. Right before you fell asleep, you kissed me several times and kept telling me how much you love me. I can’t even imagine what I would have done without you. You are so amazing!!!

I love you so much!
