This morning you were slow to get up again because you went to bed sooo late. When you did get up, you wanted my help picking a fancy dress to wear to school. You chose your dress, put on your panties and shorts, but had a crying meltdown when I asked you to pick socks and shoes. You were laying on the floor wailing about how you didn’t want to go to school!! When I offered you half a PB&J sammie for breakfast, you got smiley fast lol. Then you finished the eggs Daddy made you. You sang some creative songs on the way to school. We were a little early and you were happy to be there!
Daddy met you at gymnastics. You had fun with Coach Nickie doing popcorn with you on the giant trampoline. When I got home, you helped me make pizza. Daddy was leaving with Mr. Tom for man night. When he left, you realized he forgot his special green golf ball. You were so sad he was gone and that he left without his ball that you were crying hard. I asked if you wanted to call Daddy and you said yes. When he heard how upset you were, he drove back to give you a hug & kiss and to take the golf ball. You were still a little sad, waving goodbye to the boys, but then Grandma Noot pulled up for girls night! She brought you a surprise Mermaid sign for your room.
After dinner, we watched the Peanuts movie and had chocolate chip cookies. When it was bedtime, you asked Grandma Noot to come with us and you had her read How to Catch A Mermaid. I read Ferdinand & you read your manners books. When we all finished reading, she gave you kisses & left. You snuggled with me and we listened to Moana. You sang for a minute and then were asleep about 15 minutes later.
