You woke up asking what time it is. You told Daddy “You look all alone!” Then laid in between us and said “I love you Mom & Dad!! I’m gonna keep you all day and night!”
We decided to go to breakfast at the Blue Dolphin Cafe on St. Armand’s to let you try the grilled blueberry muffins! You were so excited you wanted to wear your princess crown, “fancy shoes” & a twirly dress. You wanted one piggy tail braid & one french braid!We haven’t been there in years….I don’t think since you were born. It’s just inconvenient enough that we don’t go. I was looking so forward to it, but it was just not very good. I was disappointed. After we left, we drove past Lido Beach & decided to stop there for a potty break. We found cute concrete beach balls & of course I had to take your picture. Sometimes, you actually ask me out loud why I take your picture so much! I literally just don’t want to forget anything. I absolutely love being your Mom & since I can’t freeze you where you are, I will just take an insane amount of pictures & document as much as I can lol!
While we were at the beach, Chrissy invited us to her nephew Jaxson’s 1st birthday party. There was a huge inflatable water slide, which I knew you would LOVE!!! Plus, you always have fun playing with Kingston. So, we went home, changed into your swimsuit, then went to get him a gift. You carefully selected the toy you wanted to give him, but also chose a dog bone for Harry. Although it was about time for the party, you insisted on going home first to take Harry his bone. I told you that will make us late for the party. You asked “Will I miss the party if we go home, or just be late.” I said we would just be late. You said “that’s ok, let’s go home first and I will just be late.” Harry never has cared about bones like that, but I didn’t have the heart to bust your bubble. I thought it was better to just waste the money on something he would never use lol. After stopping home to surprise Harry, we finally arrived at the party around 2:30p. You never even stopped to eat lunch. You played so hard the entire time. You were rough housing with Kingston & his friend, both of whom are 6, but you hung with the boys and gave it right back! Your only concern was where the birthday cake is. They served donuts instead of cake. Of course you had one, but still inquired as to where the cake is lol. When I finally got you off the water slide, I tried to get you to eat a little & got you in your jammies dress. Then, you were playing with the boys. You scammed a Woody costume out of them even though it barely fit you!
After the party, Katrina sent us home with a huge Buzz Lightyear rocketship that she made. We can use it for trick or treat! It’s so huge, one of the guys had to bring it in his pick up truck. We had to call Daddy & have him meet us at the storage unit. He was less than excited lol but when he saw how cool it was & how happy it made you he was happy too. You insisted that the Woody costume be stored with the Rocketship. When we got home, we took a bath & then hit the bed. You were exhausted!!!!
