When I got home from my bike ride this morning, you ran over to give me a kiss but were grossed out because I was so sweaty lol. You really wanted to wear your whale shirt with the pocket, but you had it on last night and got popsicle juice on it. You weren’t happy that you couldn’t wear a dirty shirt to school. You opted for your green twirly dress with shorts that have pockets instead. You keep trying to bring golf balls to school in your pockets.
As soon as we pulled out of the neighborhood on the way to school you exclaimed “it’s a beautiful sunny day! Cars are driving on the road!” You were so happy about how sunny it was!
Once we got to school, you were searching for seashells in the parking lot. Then, you told me that it’s pocket day and you need more shirts with pockets. I will be sure to note that when shopping for you lol.
After school, you & Ms. Sandy did a frog craft project from your big box. When I got home, you couldn’t wait to show it to me. While I was cooking dinner, you wanted me to play. I felt really bad asking you to wait… You said Mom, are you done with the sauce yet? You promised me you would play after the sauce!” When Daddy got home, he ate & then we took a bike ride around the block. You stopped to pet the brand new puppy the neighbors just got and you played with their kids. While we were talking Ms. Moe & Jack Daniels walked by, so of course you wanted to talk to her. We went with them and you were making Ms. Moe run to race you on your bike. You had so much fun, but were so sweaty. When Daddy came around the corner, you told Ms. Moe, “that’s MY Daddy!” and gave him a huge hug. We ended up outside for a little over an hour, so when we came home we had to head straight to your room. It was 9pm! We did one kids Lingo and snuggled to sleep.
