9/16/20 – I Still Love Our Morning Hugs

I woke you up this morning rubbing your back. When we went to your room to get dressed, I sat on the side of your bed and you climbed in my lap and hugged me so tight. We hugged for what felt like 20 minutes and I soaked it up. There was I told you that I love your hugs so much. I asked you if you love our nighttime hugs or morning hugs best. You said “nighttime hugs, but I still love our morning hugs.”

Jackie came to town today. You were very excited to wear a fancy dress to meet us for dinner. Grandma Noot came too and brought Peyton & Zephyr. We ate at Mi Pueblo and you were so good. You of course were excited to have sopapillas (and honey of course) as well! When we were leaving you were telling us in the parking lot that honey comes from “when you go to bed and the bumblebees come while you are sleeping and put honey in your fridgerator!”

On the way home, I stopped at Fresh Market for a few things & you drove home with Daddy. When I got home, you & Daddy were just coming back from the mailbox. You were excited to show Jackie your math workbook & you insisted she come to your room to read Halloween books! She’s such a good sport, laying in bed with us for books & Lingos. The only bad thing is you don’t want to go to sleep because you want to keep “performing” for her & showing her all of your stuff! Once she left the room, you were snoozing very shortly!

I love you so much!
