This morning you woke up around 8:15a. I’m actually surprised it was that early considering how late you were up. I was in your room chatting with Grandma Noot and you came in. You were crying and upset. When I asked you what was wrong you said “I said excuse me but you didn’t stop talking.” I came over to hug you and told you I didn’t hear you. We got you calmed down and we came out to the living room. I told you Aunt Deb was coming to hang with you. You asked if Fed was coming too? I said no because he has to go to school. You were again very upset and crying. Apparently Aunt Deb is disappointing lol.
Once you recovered, I offered you some breakfast. You asked for waffles so I made the batter really quick. I left for work & she cooked them for you. You were excited to show her Toy Story 3 because she hadn’t seen it. You were not eating and she asked if you wanted a bite. You had 1 bite of waffle, were drinking water & watching TV. You complained that your belly hurt and then you threw up. You rested on the couch for awhile, then had a couple more bites waffle and more water. After a little bit you threw up again & said your belly hurts. Aunt Deb offered applesauce but you didn’t want anything. You were still very talkative. She told you you needed charcoal & you didn’t want to take it. But, once she said you couldn’t go in the car to see Broadway unless she was sure you wouldn’t get sick, you wolfed it down!
You were in a great mood despite it all. ? You popped up and said “I’m going to put some shorts on so we can go see baby Broadway!” She said “don’t you want to finish the movie?” You said, “oh no, we can pause that and finish when we get back!”
You showed her where baby Olivia ripped the pages in your Spanish book. You said, “but I also ripped the pages when I was 3, but my Mom taped it.” You said, “I’m ready to go see Broadway. I made up a song for him to make his heart happy!”
You wanted to bring Harold to play with Broadway. You got to play with all the dogs outside for a bit. Then you went in to watch the Little Mermaid. You said you were hungry so she made you some mini pbj sandwiches. You had fun playing with all the dogs & getting tons of kisses from Broadway. You got to ride you bike, jump on the trampoline & swim with Broadway in the pool! You even scored an ice cream bar!
You went with Aunt Deb to pick up Fed from school. On the way you said, “I’m getting hungry!” She was happy your appetite was returning, but then realized she didn’t have any food! You scolded her for not bringing the snack bag because you wanted your long skinny crackers lol. Fortunately, she also overpacks Fed’s lunch so he had snacks to share with you which you were really happy about! Then you made Fed play numerous rounds of “Pretend I’m Alexa and ask me something I don’t know!” You used our new thermometer to take everyone’s temperature including Aunt Deb, the dogs and your Spanish book! You told them in the car “I don’t get any shots. Lillian had 3 band-aids on her arm because she got 3 shots, but I don’t get any shots!”
You dropped Fed off at rehearsal & then while heading back home, you had to stop at Panera for an emergency pee. When you walked in you said, “ooooooooh it smells good in here! Can we stay here and eat?” Aunt Deb said unfortunately no, because we have to get home to Mama. From the Panera at UTC you fell asleep in the car seat just past Benderson Park. She was like how did that happen?!?!?! She brought you inside and laid you on your bed.
You slept until 7p then came out to the living room and were looking for some broccoli soup. You are two big bowls! We face called Daddy then watched Ferdinand again! You ran to your toy room to get your lion king people. You wanted to have a snack (cheese and pretzels) then we played Lion King.
We climbed in my bed & you wanted to Face call Ms. Sandy. She was happy to see you even though she was in a lot of pain. After talking to her, we watched Polar Express. When the movie was over, we snuggled up and went to sleep. This has been a crazy week, but I have enjoyed spending time with you. I’m glad you are feeling so much better!
I love you so much!
