When I picked you up this afternoon, you ran up and hugged me. We stopped for ice cream at Fat Donkey after school. We ate for a bit at a table inside, then you wanted to sit outside on a bench. You were chatty with people who walked by and even went into the shop next door to ask how much a tote bag was that I thought was cute for Marina.
When we finished our ice cream we headed to the lot to check out the progress and drove past Bay Haven. The playground there looks so nice and there were kids out playing. You asked if we could stop and play with them. Unfortunately, we can’t get onto the school grounds yet.
We went home and made stir fry for dinner. Today, the movie Raya & The Last Dragon became available on Disney+ so we watched that while we had dinner. My plan was to start the movie after dinner, but you were too excited to wait. I’m glad we did because you were tired from a long week so you were asleep relatively early for a Friday night, shortly after 9p.
