This morning I woke you up at 8a so you got a good solid 12 hours of sleep. When you got up, you got dressed and ate a little breakfast. You insisted on wearing your hair in a headband today and not a hair tie. I told you Grandma Noot was coming over tonight & you said “Yayyyyyyy! Awesome. She will probably bring dessert!” I was cracking up and texted her immediately
You were slow at doing your jobs & we got out of the house a little later than usual. We had to do the car line drop off because we got to school around 9:10a. I hate dropping you off that way – you always look sad and mopey walking in when we don’t walk up together. I worry that your day will start off sad when that happens. I texted Ms. Wolleon in Dojo to check on you.
After school, you lingered and gave me a long hug & snuggle on the steps of the school. We headed home to make dinner. You made a list of who you were planning to invite to your next birthday party!! We went outside to chase lizards and Ingrid & Benji walked by. You ran with him until he was panting and hot too!!! Daddy came home and when he pulled up you said “where did you come from?!?!!?” You were surprised he was home. You jumped in and he took you for a ride around the block. I took Harold back inside and got dinner ready. Grandma Noot came and we had dinner. You raved about my mashed potatoes (they are not usually something you look for but tonight you loved them). You were excited to tell her that Daddy finally got you Hulu. I have no idea how you know what Hulu is already, but you do. You asked me for it while Daddy was out of town last week & I told you to ask him when he gets home. I didn’t realize you guys were talking about it and he signed up yesterday! After playing and signing (and dessert brought by Grandma Noot) you brushed your teeth and we headed to your room to read books. You took off your clothes and put on your Frozen dress up shoes & put on a performance of “Mi Cuerpo.” You told us you were going to do the “emotions” = motions. You sang that then Lava, then we read books. It took you about an hour to finally calm down and go to sleep. I kissed your cheek and told you I love you for the thousandth time today, because I do.
