Even though you went to bed so late, you still woke up at 8a. You wanted to play board games so we played Sorry, Candy Land, and Chutes & Ladders. I made pancakes then we headed to Spanish with Ms. Ida. You made cards for Ms. Ida, Gracyn Landsman and the Berlin kids. You had so much fun doing a scavenger hunt for colors, FaceTiming Ms. Ida’s parents to talk about Puerto Rico and singing songs.
I picked you up and we went home to play more games and eat lunch. I tried to take you shopping, Daddy tried to take you to the Outlet Mall and I tried to get you to deliver soup to my friend Dena who is sick, but you didn’t want to leave the house. So you and I played more board games, including two games of Life and Daddy ran to the Outlet Mall. When he got back, I delivered the soup. You guys played ice cream shop (you insisted Daddy pay you with real money not play money) & hunted lizards while I was gone.
When I got home and walked in, you were bummed because you were hoping I was Emily Brophy. She came a few minutes later to hang out with you while Daddy & I went to dinner with Al & Lisa Sessa. She said you were really well behaved all night. She mentioned you were getting tired around 9p so you brushed teeth, got on jammies, brushed hair and peed. Then you played with your ducks in the sink. When we got home you were snuggling on the couch with Emily. I took you to bed and played Lava for you & you were out before it was over. You were so peaceful I couldn’t stop kissing your cheeks.
