This morning, you ran upstairs to see Grandma Noot. Today was Tired Tuesday for Seuss week and you got to wear jammies to school and you were very happy about it. As we were walking to the gate, you told me you were frozen like a popsicle lol! At drop off, you hugged me and asked me to come to lunch. I told you I had a consult at 10 & I wasn’t sure if I would be done in time for lunch but that I would try to come. I finished early and surprised you. You were already in the cafeteria practicing your Dr. Seuss performance so I got to overhear a little of it. It’s so sweet and I can’t wait to watch you on Friday! I walked into the cafeteria after you finished and you had already opened your lunch. You sprinted over to me with a huge smile on your face. You shouted “Mom!!! You had time!?!?!?!?!” I said “of course my love, I will always make time for you!”
Mr. Gill called me around 2p to advise that you fell on in the PE Shelter and your elbow was red. He put you on the phone so we could talk. When I asked you how are you you replied, “Bad, really bad. I hurt my elbow.” You wanted me to come pick you up right then, I told you I would be there after my consult. You were just fine!
When I picked you up, you asked to go get ice cream, so we stopped at Main Street Creamery before heading home to make dinner. When we got home, you did several puzzles with Grandma Noot upstairs, we ate dinner then played with your walkie talkies before going to bed with her upstairs. You were so excited about your weeknight sleepover!
