After a super busy weekend last weekend, this Saturday you were ready for a home day… You are ALWAYS ready for a home day! You brought out the nail polish as soon as you got up. You asked me to paint your nails in bengal tiger so we did. You LOVED it!
I ran some errands to get ready for your birthday party and you and Daddy started a brunch picnic outside with the dogs. I invite you to come but you wanted to stay home. When I got home, you couldn’t wait to show me your set up. Then we got the glitter bubbles out and we had a blast. You even had Hank “blowing” bubbles lol. You’ve asked to make cookies for about a week and you asked again so we went in and make cookies! You did all the measuring and mixing and you even wrote out the recipe while you were working! You sat in front of the oven waiting for the cookies to finish. It was so cute. It took some convincing to get you out of last nights pajamas, but we finally got you to change around 6:30p so we could go to dinner. You were singing your math doubles song so confidently! We had a great time. You wanted to take Daddy to “Munchkies” – Menchies for frozen yogurt. You got a small one and hardly put a dent in it. We played for a little bit when we got home then you read me three of the new reader books Ms. Wolleon sent home in bed. I can’t get over how much your independent reading has exploded in the last two months. You have really jumped in your skills by a huge amount. I’m so proud of you! We finished the books, shut off the light, you threw your legs on top of mine and drifted off to sleep a few minutes later.
I love you so much!
