i heard you get up and go to the bathroom at 330a you came to my bed and said ”Mama, i want to snuggle with you for a few minutes i see the light is starting to come so i will have to go back to my room. i need to wake up there so i can get dressed in the morning”

my bed and snuggled until you went back to sleep then went to the office. apparently yoh woke uo whike I was gone and you were really uoset tjay i was gone you werr still uo when i got home at 230 am

You and Olivia were up early for how late you went to bed last night. I got up around 7:45a and you were up already! I made you guys pancakes and you were playing, screaming and having a blast. We had to get dressed and head out to Gigi’s 90th Birthday party in Clearwater. I thought for sure you would fall asleep in the car on the way there, but no dice! As soon as Gigi arrived, you gave her a huge hug and her eyes lit up to see you. There were tons of kids there and at first you were shy, but then you were having a blast. You played corn hole, lawn bowling, yard dice & colored. Of course, when Zephyr arrived you were even happier. We stayed until the end and helped to clean up. You were laughing that you had two cupcakes and a piece of cake.
We headed back home and I thought for sure you would sleep but you colored and chatted the whole way home. Chrissy & Olivia met us at the house and we had a cookout. When Grandma Noot got home, you snuggled with her and had a push pop before we headed to bed. We had a really fun weekend.

You came to my room at 3:30a. I heard you running through the living room. You climbed in bed and snuggled with me. You immediately threw your legs over mine and started snoring immediately. I love feeling your breath on me when you snuggle up closely. When you got up, you came out to pack for show & tell today. We got dressed and you shouted up the stairs asking Grandma Noot to please make your fancy eggs for breakfast! She gladly came running! When we got to school, you had so much stuff that I had to park and bring it all in for you! That’s how it always is on show & tell day with your entire bag of stuff to show – especially after your birthday – plus the snacks, plus your regular backpack, lunchbox and water bottle! You asked to call Aunt Deb on the way home & chatted her up all about school & which friends were doing what. She was cracking up!
I had to pick you up at car line today because I had an appointment run late. When you opened the door you looked at me like I was crazy & questioned by I was late. Ms. Wolleon told me that she saw you in the cafeteria and you said to her “can you believe I’m carline?” lol. You asked if we could go to Starbucks for hot chocolate and a cake pop. We did, then headed home to make dinner. You were laying on my bed watching TV while I cooked and you were starting to look droopy! I got you up, we ate and worked on your homework before talking to Daddy. I knew you were still tired from this weekend, although you got good sleep last night, so headed to bed early. We called Ms. Sandy & you read her a book after chatting and being crazy. We hung up, turned out the lights and you wanted to wear your new Frozen face mask. You were sleeping by 7:45p before we could even finish one meditation on your turtle!

This morning you were so excited for your field trip to the Van Wezel to see Pout Pout Fish the Musical. You picked a fancy dress and had Grandma Noot help you apply makeup so you could be extra fancy. I was supposed to chaperone, so I dropped you off at school and headed there. Two minutes later, Ms. Wolleon called me and said the school was just notified that the performance was cancelled because one of the actors was sick. I was so sad because I knew you and all the kids would be devastated. Everyone was looking so forward to this and it was the last field trip of this year. I came to have lunch at school with you since I was free. I even got to stay for recess which you were super jazzed about. We played an Olympic game of Hide & Seek with all the kids. It was so much fun and I love coming on campus. I love how excited you are to have me and how the other kids all shout “Giovanna’s Mom!” when they see me!
