We thought we were having photos today. You woke up at 6:30a and came to my room excited about going. Unfortunately it was raining so we had to reschedule. You were not happy about going to school so I surprised you at lunch. It really perked you up. I brought your Go Fish cards and Story Cubes and you played with Layla Evangelista. When I picked you up it was pouring so I got you in the car line. When you got in the car I asked you how your day was and you said “spectacular!” When we got home, Daddy was there working. You were so excited to see him & you sat next to him at the dining room table and watched YouTube while he worked. After dinner, you put on quite a performance singing the next Earth Day song you learned in music. You wanted a push pop after dinner. i told you to finish your carrots you came back awfully quickly so i checked the trash can and found the jackpot!
4/6/22 –
This morning, you got to go to the house to do your hand and foot prints again before school. You were so excited! While we were talking to the superintendent, you were sitting on the lanai gazing out to the water and you looked so mature and peaceful. I can’t wait to be living here with you. We are going to make some amazing memories in this home.
On the way to school we stopped for a donut for you to take even though it was lunch time! You thought that was hilarious. On the way to pick you up, Mr. Gill called and said you got hit in the face by another kid’s book bag. You had a red mark and a Band-Aid. When you walked out, I asked how your day was and you said “horrifying!”
4/5/22
You got up and starting complaining of a tingle in your ears. You seemed to feel fine yesterday so I was planning to send you to school today. But when you woke up you were complaining of a tingle in your ears, so I let you stay out of school. We had to go to my office for about an hour and a half. Then we went to my nail appointment and you chatted up alllll the ladies in the salon. You went up to the owner to try to buy a bottle of the nail color you liked best.
You wanted to grab a slice of pizza at Whole Foods after so we did! We went home to play and have dinner. You hung with Grandma Noot while I ran Harry to the groomer. After dinner Daddy gave you a bath and I ran to get a dress for our family photos this week. You sent me some cute voice messages while I was out and I loved it. When I got home you were waiting up for me to put you to bed we read and snuggled but you were wiggly ans it was almost 10p before you fell asleep!
I love you so much!
4/4/22 – Strep, But Not Too Bad!
You didn’t want to go into school & cried at the gate until I got back to the car. My heart was breaking. I went to pick you up early since you were sad and I couldn’t go to lunch with you today. You were sad when you came to the front office and didn’t look like you felt good but you were happy to see me. You were talking as you climbed in the car & I noticed white patches in your mouth. We immediately called Aunt Deb. We dropped Hank off and I took you to the Dr. Despite having strep throat, you were dancing and singing in the office and chatted up all the staff. We were early so we stopped at Menchie’s for frozen yogurt before the appointment. You were so good at the appointment and let them culture your throat, so I agreed to let you go back for a SECOND frozen yogurt. You thought that was pretty amazing. You seemed to feel fine. We rode our bikes around the neighborhood 6 times! You only complained of painful swallowing this morning with breakfast, so I assumed you were just still tired. You had no other symptoms and acted normal all day! We headed to bed and you feel asleep fast.
I love you so much!
4/3/22 – Chalk Festival Fail
You all slept in until around 9am because you were up so late partying!!! You were tracking the order everyone woke up and kept a chart on your chalkboard! For a little while, you guys sat with your arms around each other on the couch watching human body videos. I told you we were taking you guys to the Chalk Festival today and I showed you photos of what to expect. You were both so excited! Then you brought the playdough table into the living room and sweetly played together while watching playdough videos! Of course we had pancakes, bacon and hash browns for breakfast!
The Chalk Festival was a little bit of a bust. It really didn’t hold Bianca’s attention at all. You liked it more than she did, but you were hungry, and nothing stops you when you are staving! I bought you some teriyaki beef jerky. You were in love with it and kept asking for more steak!
We left and went downtown for dinner. We found mermaid and sea horse statues all over and we had to take pictures of you & Bianca on each one lol. We headed home and you told Daddy all about our day while we finished building your gingerbread chicken coop. Then, you were pretty mad when we had to go to bed 30 minutes after getting home. You said, “but mom…I didn’t even get to play and the sun is still out!” You followed me to your room at 7:30p. I tried to read to you but you were asleep by 7:40p. You needed the rest!
I love you so much!

I picked you up early from school and we headed for a surprise to see Frozen The Muscial at the Straz in Tampa. Met Becky & Bianca. We had pizza for dinner and guy was rude and took our table. you FT sandy & told her all about it then told Becky when they arrived. The guy came up to me after dinner and was rude.
the show was amazing. You asked me “can I stand up” when Let It Go came on. You stood, sang so passionately and even had full arm motions to go along with it. It was absolutely adorable and everyone around us was smiling warmly and enjoying your excitement. The show wasn’t over until 10:30p so we got home just before midnight. Of course you fell asleep in the car. When we got home, you woke up and were crying because you were “starving”

3/29/22 – Boys Are Just Crazy
This morning you got up, got dressed and we hit the road with your egg sandwich in search of a donut. Your neck was feeling much better thank goodness. We went to Dunkin Donuts by school to get a donut but we waited so long that we had to get out of line and you were still a minute late for school. Mr. Jorge was there when we walked in the and he took you back & you got to play with kinetic sand for a few minutes.
When I picked you up, you told me I had good and bad day. I said what happened. You said “these boys. You were right, they are just crazy. Silas Dunlap lost my un-racer (your word for eraser).” I about died laughing. When we got home, you jumped in the bathtub & we had fun watching spinal cord videos on YouTube before dinner.
We took the dogs for a walk after dinner. You stopped and said “take a picture of me like this and send it to Ms. Wolleon.” At the cross walk you looked at Daddy and I and said “wait here a moment while I cross, then bring Hank to cross the street.” I looked at Daddy and laughed… “wait here a moment.” You are so wise beyond your years. Grandma Noot’s Mom had surgery today. Last night you wanted to sleep with her but she had to leave at 4am. When you woke up & when we got home from school you were looking for her. She promised you could sleep with her tonight. She took you upstairs to go to bed and a few minutes later you came back down and said you didn’t want to hurt her feelings but you wanted to sleep with me. You were out in 2 minutes.
I love you so much!

When you woke up you snuggled with Hank. When you finished brushing your teeth, you were getting in shower with me, you turned around to pet Hank and hurt your neck. You started crying hard so I took you to Dr. Dan for an adjustment. One the table, you had your hands under your head and told him “I need to elevate my neck.” He was dying. He said no PE but you could go to school. I walked you to your classroom and the class was working on -UG family words. You grabbed your white board and jumped on it, excited to show me how your day goes.
On the way to the car after school, I surprised youWe went to Da Ru Ma for Olivia’s birthday. You were so well behaved and ate like a champ. When we got home, you told Grandma Noot all about your visit with Dr. Dan and your whole day. You wanted to sleep with her but she’s got to get up at 4am tomorrow for her Mom’s surgery. You were so bummed. I love how much you love each other!
