we went home to make tacos

When daddy got home you gabe him his phrot album from your ohoto shoot w hank playeded qith jackie daddy me and grnadma noot drawing and exolaining our drawinfs fifting each to anotber perosn

stalled big time to go to bed wheb you fjnally got in bed yoh were out in 10-15 min

3/22/22 – Reentry!

You came to my room at 6:30a & climbed in bed all riled up trying to play with Hank. I got you to lay down and you fell back to sleep and then I had trouble getting you up for school! I put Hank back in bed with you and he finally got you up! Somehow, despite the late start, we still got to school a few minutes early. We practiced your sight words in the car and although you hadn’t seen them for a week, you got all but one correct!! I’m so proud of you! I walked you into the classroom and Ms. Wolleon was super excited to hear all about your trip! You didn’t want me to leave, but I was able to get out without too much disruption.

When I picked you up you jumped in my arms. I missed you today!!! We went home to make dinner because Jackie is here! Yoh played outside for a while with Hank and then took a bath. While I was cooking, you fell asleep in the chair. I went over to wake you up because you are still a little off schedule from our trip. I wanted to be sure you got good rest tonight. You started to get stilly around 8p so at 8:15p I took you to my room to go to sleep. All of a sudden you were wailing, crying so hard and you couldn’t even tell me why you were crying. Through your cries, I could hear your yawns. I just kept playing meditations and kissing your head. I didn’t get frustrated or say a word. You were snuggling with me but it took you a while to calm down. Hank was in the living room with Jackie & Daddy and was very upset that you were crying. It was so sweet. All of a sudden, you asked me if I could give you rubs, massage, fat donkey and scratches from my neck back and butt crack. I said of course. Two seconds later, you were snoring.

I love you so much!

3/21/22

Last day of spring break. Slept until 10:45a. Had pancakes then went to Grandma Weezie’s to swim. Then we came home to change and go get ice cream at Main Street Creamery. You got a milkshake for the first time. We sat outside and had our shakes for a while then headed to Whole Foods to get food to make dinner.

3/19/22

flight home sick all night recovered wnoguh to get thru airport slept 70% of flight hime slept car ride hime hugged unicorn pillow and went back to sleep woke up around 1030 and ate then we went to bed together around 1130

3/17/22 – St. Paddy’s Day in the Snow!

You & Rafe played play dough and played outside in the morning. It’s been in the 40s so most of the snow in the yard has melted. We never made snow ice cream before the melting started so I’m sort of bummed about that. I didn’t want to do everything the first day but then we missed the bus!!!!

We went to Main Street in Park City & walked around. We got chocolate at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory & stopped for pizza for lunch. You scored illegal leopard yoga pants and a bunch of souvenirs. You and Rafe watched a movie & snuggled together in his chair. You two were so cute all week. He really enjoyed your meditation turtle at bedtime. The two of you snuggling in bed was so adorable.
