When you woke up we played a little bit then headed to the condo. You hugged and kissed Daddy goodbye and he left for North Carolina for the week. Since we didn’t have school, we hung out all day at the condo. You played with Jimmy Romanoff and you guys had lunch at the pool. Rylan Headlock & Kingston Farrier came too and stayed until sunset. I wanted to go back home but you wanted to sleep at the condo so we did. I didn’t even have your bookbag with us for school tomorrow! Oh well! It was fun!
2/20/22
You and Bianca woke up at 7a which surprised me. We had breakfast and hit the road to go to Legoland. It was busy but we got to ride everything at least once.
When we closed the park up, we stopped for dinner then headed home. You asked me to play fast songs. Then after the first one you said “can you please play some music for sleeping?” and you were snoring 15 seconds later. You slept the entire way home. I laid you in bed and the was it until morning!
2/19/22 – Lunch, Swim, Dinner
This morning, I ran errands and got a massage. You were sleeping soundly with Daddy when I left. When I came home, you were naked on the couch watching Jack Hartman videos. You ran up and jumped in my arms giving me another really great hug. You got dressed, danced some more and we headed to the condo to meet Becky and Bianca for lunch and to swim. You ladies had a lot of fun but then started to get chilly so we went up to shower. We were getting ready to go walk the beach before leaving for dinner and Daddy came! We went to Columbia and you were both very good.
When we got back home, you guys changed into PJs and climbed in bed to read. You were reading to Bianca. I came in to read to you and you asked me to let you guys be alone. The next time I checked a few minutes later you were asleep but Bianca was still awake. I came in to help her settle but she was super squirmy. While I was reading to her you woke up. She started crying looking for her Mom. You sat up on your elbow, reached your arm over her chest, rubbed her shoulder and arm and said “Bianca, it’s ok. I once felt just the same as you. My Mom was on a FUPPA trip for a couple of days and I was with my Dad and I was crying huge crocodile tears. But she came back and I was so happy!” You guys snuggled up, Becky came in and you were both asleep in no time. Tomorrow we are headed to Legoland!

2/18/22 – Field Day Fun
Even though you went to bed early last night, you still didn’t want to get up today at all. I had to try 5 times to wake you up and finally you got up at 8:10a. You got dressed and we headed to school. Today was field day and you were so excited about it! You looked so cute in your sporty gear which is harder and harder to get you in these days! You walked right up into the gates and waved bye to me! I asked you to give me a kiss before you ran off with your friends… you blew me a kiss and that was all I was getting!!! lol I will take it though!
I came back for Field Day and you were playing a bowling pin ring toss when I arrived. When you turned around and saw me your jaw dropped and you ran up to me, jumped up and wrapped your arms and legs around me. I kissed you a hundred times. I absolutely loved every minute. I know you won’t always be so excited to see me at school so I’m soaking this up. You walked around holding my hand and it made me so happy. We walked a lap around the track and then you got to have a popsicle. I had to run back to work for a closing and you were heading back to class. You started to cry and didn’t want me to leave. Mrs. Nichols helped ease the transition, for which I was very grateful. Daddy picked you up from school as a surprise because I had a late closing and I didn’t want you to have to wait around the office. When I got home, you gave me another epic huge hug and it made my day all over again. We packed our bags for a fun long holiday weekend! I’m looking very forward to spending this weekend with you at the condo and at Legoland. You started getting tired so we headed to bed. I read to you from the Bad Ass Woman Book of Quotes and you were snoring in 10 minutes.

2/17/21 – Horsing Around
This morning, you came to my room around 3:30a to tell me that the Tooth Fairy left you a note and brought you some unicorns! I wasn’t sure if you would go back to sleep or not, but you eventually did. When you got up, you couldn’t wait to show me your unicorns and use the glitter pens the Tooth Fairy brought! I had a hard time getting you to get dressed because you were making “family words” that end the same like you do in school! We got to school and walked up with Micha. All the kids were going crazy for Hank.
When I picked you up, you played with Micha for a few minutes then we headed home. You were playing outside while I made dinner and when Daddy got home we headed to UTC to meet Chrissy and Olivia to see the Budweiser Clydesdale horses. I asked you if you wanted to see them and you said “yes! But I won’t feed them!” You are still scarred by the horse that bit you at Christmas time. We had fun there then dropped Daddy at man night and headed home. In the car you were starting to fall asleep but insisted you wanted cake when we got home. You had two bites then headed to bed. You were snoring in 5 minutes and you were out before 8p.

2/16/22 – The Last Loose Tooth For A While
This morning, you came out and were a little grumpy and didn’t want to get dressed. Once you finally did get dressed and ready, you were eating breakfast and your last front bottom tooth came out! You immediately called Daddy to tell him all about it you were so excited! You told me to text Grandma Weezie, Grandma Noot and the FUPPAs, but not Ms. Wolleon because you wanted to surprise her. She told me you ran in to show her as soon as you got to school! We stopped to get a celebratory donut and you wanted to call Aunt Deb to tell her too!
After school, you wanted to wait for Micha so we did. You guys ran and played with Hank so hard that all three of you were hot and sweaty. Hank was panting so hard! When it was time to go, Micha was so upset she started crying because she would miss you. You offered her your charcuterie snack to help cheer her up! You are such a kind friend! When we got home, we opened the garage door and saw Daddy’s car. You ran in to show him your tooth! You squealed “Daddy! You’re home!!!” He said “I wanted to see your tooth so I came home before you!” It was so sweet. We made wings for dinner and you talked a big game about having cake. I cut you a piece but you only ate one bite! We headed to bed to read books at 8p and you were out by 8:30p. Before jumping in bed, you wanted to write the tooth fairy a letter since you won’t lose another tooth for a while!
Ms. Wolleon texted me to ask if I thought you would want to have a few lines in the Dr. Seuss birthday poem for the performance in two weeks. She asked you about it today and you told her you were nervous but you would do it.

2/15/22 – Pretty In Pink
Even though we went to bed so early last night, you slept until 7:30a. You popped up out of bed, jumped in the shower with me, got dressed and ready for school with absolutely no discussion! I was so proud of you. You checked yourself out in the mirror and spent a lot of time examining your loose tooth. In the car on the way to school you asked to call Aunt Deb. You wanted to tell her that your boob hurt and find out why. She told you it was probably growing pains and it was normal. You had a hundred more questions after that lol. Today you had to bring the snack and it was show and tell. You were showing Ms. Wood all your things that you brought at the gate lol.
You had a great day and when I picked you up you were telling me all about the day. You asked to check on the house so I took you there. We chatted with Ms. Peggy next door and your raided her fridge lol. You wanted to call Aunt Deb again to check in about your growing pains again!! You also described your loose tooth in great detail. We took Hank to Holistic for Pets to get treats and dog food. Chrissy and Olivia came over for dinner as well. You were excited to have the chocolate cake we bought for Valentine’s Day, but we didn’t get to eat because we went to bed so early last night. After cake, we headed to bed to read several books. Your bottom front tooth was hanging on by a thread and it was bothering you. You kept wiggling it and were getting upset that it wasn’t coming out. You had a hard time calming your body down but we snuggled and I rubbed and massaged you until you finally fell asleep around 9p.

2/14/22 – Q & U Wedding!
This morning, you were still chilly and didn’t want to get up. I asked you if you wanted to go to the Q&U wedding since they were having cake. You said you didn’t want cake. That worried me because I wasn’t sure if you were getting sick or just tired or what. I also wasn’t sure if I should even send you to school. A few minutes later, you agreed to get up and get dressed. You saw the Valentine’s box I made for you and you were very happy about it! You also opened your card from Grandma Weezie and we sent her a video. You didn’t eat your breakfast but you did get ready so we made our way to school. In the car on the way, you kept whining and saying you wanted to snuggle with me. I told you I couldn’t snuggle while I was driving but you were just clingy and I was getting more concerned about sending you. When we got to school, you were really freezing cold and wanted to me to sit with you at your desk. You immediately picked up your pencil and started to work on your “Qu” words. You were clinging to me and crying every time I tried to leave you would get upset and cry. Ms. Wolleon had you give me your handprint gift to try to ease the transition, but it didn’t help. I told her if I needed to come get you I would. I left and she texted me to let me know that you were doing better, but weren’t 100% yourself.
The Q & U wedding was so cute and you ended up having fun. There was a reception with music & dancing too. I was excited to pick you up and see how your day was. We sat on the steps chatting and you were telling me about all the cool things you got in your unicorn mailbox. You told me Rylan had a “golden sparkle” box that was really pretty too. You wanted to wait for Micha & Manuela. You hugged Manuela when she left. We headed to the car and you were walking Hank. You looked so mature with you hair straight. I am just in awe of you.
We stopped at Publix on the way home to grab a few things to make dinner for Daddy. We made shrimp fettucine alfredo and then you started to complain about being cold again. After dinner, you put on your jammies and we climbed in my bed at 7p to watch Valentine’s shorts on Disney +. We snuggled and you were playing with your loose bottom tooth. I can’t believe that thing is still hanging on! After 30 minutes, I said one more then we will turn it off. As soon as the last one was over, you turned off the TV, kissed my hand and nuzzled up to my chin. You immediately drifted off to sleep. I rubbed your forehead and just admired you for a few minutes. I hope you are just in need of extra sleep and not fighting off a cold. I hope you feel better tomorrow!

2/13/22 – Superbowl Sunday
You guys slept in until 8:30a which surprised me but I was relieved to hear. You had three cinnamon raisin bagels for breakfast and you were in love with them. It was all you could talk about when I picked you up from Chrissy. Chrissy sent me some cute shots of you reading to the little kids which was was sweet. I love seeing the leader you are becoming.
Daddy & I stopped by the house on the way to pick you up then we went home to have a picnic lunch outside. You were whiny and easily upset. I could tell you were still tired so I took you in the car because I knew you would all asleep immediately. You did but then you slept from about 2:30p in the car until we needed to leave to go to the Sessa’s for the Superbowl party. I tried to wake you to change your clothes and get you ready. You wanted to snuggle with me so you actually sat on my lap and snuggled on the way to their house – just a few blocks. When we arrived, I thought you would perk up and play with Rafe, but instead you snuggled up on their couch and went right back to sleep until after 7p and you laid around until 8p. Then you popped up like a pogo stick and started sword fighting with Rafe. You were warm and seemed to have a fever so we finally got you to take a little motrin and that seemed to do the trick. Lisa made you hot chocolate and a throat coat lollipop. I had to drag you out of there and unexpectedly we stayed through the end of the game. You ended up having a lot of fun. I was getting really worried about you. When we got home, we climbed in my bed and you went right back to sleep, so the half a night sleep nap didn’t cause any problems lol!

2/12/22 – Planes, Pools & Sleepover Fun
This morning, you wanted to snuggle with Hank in the wagon and we made waffles. After breakfast, we headed out to the condo for some fun while Daddy stayed home and worked for a bit. On the way, we stopped by Dr. Dan to get a quick adjustment. There was a small airplane taking off so we pulled over to watch it. You stood out of my sunroof excited to see it “blast off”! When we got to the condo we swam in the pool for a while, then walked down to the Zota to have lunch. After lunch we snuggled on a beach chair and you were feeling chilly so you bundled up in towels. Then, you made friends with some kids on vacation and played in the pool with them. When you were ready to go back to the condo you let me know and we walked back. We showered and then Chrissy called to invite you to sleep over at her house with Olivia and Sadie. You immediately jumped at the opportunity! You asked me “what if Chrissy has chocolate?” I said you can have whatever she has at her house. You said “Really??” I was like of course! Just finish your lunch! You wolfed down the rest of your grilled cheese! We headed back to the house and you fell asleep in the car on the way. I had to wake you up when Chrissy arrived at our house. You are definitely in a growth spurt – you are eating and sleeping like crazy! I had dinner plans with Aunt Deb and you were going to hang with Daddy at the condo. Instead, Daddy came with us so we had an impromptu date night! You girls had so much fun and Chrissy sent me so many cute photos. You finally went to bed at 11p!
