ypu came to my room at 630a. You were trying not to go back to sleep but you finally did at 650. I got up and showered bc I had to meet Layla Evangelista and Anastasia Townsend’s moms to decorate your classroom door for the contest. Daddy got you up and brought you to school. You ran up and hugged me in the hallway when you arrived. You were so excited and kept telling us how beautiful everything looked!! I picked you up at lunchtime and we ran home, grabbed our bags, grabbed lunch,

swung by Marcelas office to finalize dining room table and chairs & hit the road to the Gaylord Palms for the Christmas weekend! We shared a room with Lisa and Lucy Wallace. When we walked in, you ran up to Lisa and have her a huge hug. She brought you guys a bunch of cool stuff – matching elf aprons for all of us to wear to gingerbread making, Christmas lights to decorate the room and light up hair ties. We decorated and did the snow mountain slides. Went to dinner. Lisa took you and Lucy to room and you got lipstick. When we sat down Lisa asked you if you wanted to sit by Lucy. You said “no I want to sit by you because I want to be fancy (she gave lipstick in the room) you wanted her to.back to room. Our by 9

This morning you were up by 730 and showered with me. We got ready and got to school early. You asked me to sit on the steps with you and snuggle. We did until the gates were closing. I will take that alllll day long!
I picked you up and we went to Daddy’s office to snack visit and change clothes. We all headed to AstroSkate for the Bay Haven spirit night party. Chrissy and Olivia came and so did Ms. Sandy. The music was a little too loud for you, but you caught on to skating pretty well. You were a little frustrated that you weren’t an olympic skater

12/1/21 – Welcome Little Red!

This morning, your Elf on the Shelf arrived and you got a Lego City Advent Calendar. You were so surprised!!!! We were able to agree that we would put the Lego together after school. Ms. Wolleon also had an elf for your classroom. Everyone voted to name him Cookie! You got to shop in the Market during class today too.

After I dropped you at school, we headed to the lot to meet with the builder for our weekly meeting. We just got our temporary stairs and it was the first time I got to see your room. It literally moved me to tears. I can’t wait to live here with you!!!

After school, we went to UTC to meet Chrissy & keep Olivia while Chrissy cut Grandma Weezie’s hair. We had a picnic dinner on the green and then danced, walked and watched the light show. Chrissy picked her up when she finished and you & I went to Blaze to share a pizza while we watched more Christmas lights. It was so fun.

We headed home, saw Franklin & Ms. Mo walking, chatted with them, then Daddy helped you build your Lego from this morning. You guy played in the toy room for a bit and then we headed to bed. You were trying to think of a name for your Elf still & were really struggling. We looked at lots of names on Google. You settled on Little Red, but weren’t convinced you were going to keep it lol. We sang a couple Christmas songs and you were out in no time.

11/30/21 – Santa Come To My House To Play

On the way to school, you were singing the Chicken Wing song and then you told me we should have Santa come to our house because you decided there were a few more things you needed to ask him for. You wanted to ask him to come to school and you wanted to do a performance for him.

Your holiday recipe project was due today. Ms. Wolleon is gathering all the recipes and will make a cook book out of them! You wrote everything out yourself and drew some great pictures of a Chocolate Chip Cookie! I can’t wait to see the final product! I had to go into school with you this morning because I had a bunch of photo props for the class Christmas party to bring to Ms. Wolleon. You wanted to take me in the classroom and introduce me to everyone. I reminded you that I met everyone back at the Halloween party! It was so nice to get to walk in with you. I wish I could do that everyday!

After school, you asked to go downtown to Main Street Creamery. I needed to pick up a Whole Foods order anyway, so I said yes! You were so excited to choose your own flavor and you picked Rocky Road. Grandma Noot Facetimed us while we were there. You were very happy to talk to her too. When we got home, we cooked, ate and you snuggled on the couch with Daddy the second we got in the door! We headed to bed to read books and you asked me to sing Christmas songs. You fell asleep during my rendition of Silent Night! I put out your Elf, Introduction Letter & Book for you to find tomorrow, along with your Lego Advent Calendar. I sat with the tree on by myself just appreciating you this Christmas season. I hope this is absolutely magical for you! I will try my very best!

11/28/21 – Tell Daddy I Was A Rockstar!

Today, Coach had us start you tennis lesson at 9a instead of 8:30a so you could do 30 min alone and 30 min with Rafe. Since we had a few extra minutes this morning, you wanted me to take you around the block in your wagon. You were excited to show Coach your loose tooth. Coach had me leave so you wouldn’t be distracted and you had a MUUUUCCCHHHHH better lesson today. You didn’t mope or whine at all. I watched from my car and you were focused the entire time. When Rafe came, you guys played so well and had so much fun! My heart was full! When you finished we went home and you told me how I needed to tell Daddy that you were a total Rockstar!

I had to get ready to take Grandma Weezie to the Van Wezel for Come From Away. You hung out with Daddy and played Skip Bo, Go Fish and did another several laps in the wagon. When I got home, we ate dinner, did your homework, took a bath and played more Skip Bo. We headed to your room early because it’s back to school tomorrow. I will say, we kept a good schedule during the break and you didn’t get to bed too late at all. We read three books and you were almost asleep, but you kept wiggling. You even told me you were almost asleep during the last book… You asked me to sing to you so I did and then you were out. I hope you have a good week!!!

    11/27/21 – I Will Be Cheering You Up!

    This morning you came to our room around 7:45a and you were very awake lol. You were putting on a performance singing and dancing all over our room. We got up and you were helping Daddy put lights on the tree. While you were working, you looked at me and said “after these three boxes it’s your turn to put the lights up. I will be cheering you up! I’ll be your number one fan!” We decorated the tree together and you did a wonderful job. I made breakfast and lunch & delivered some soup to a friend who is sick. You and Daddy took a 3.5 mile walk around the neighborhood in your wagon. You took snacks and water on your leisurely ride! When I got home, I made dinner. You didn’t want the pasta I made & you went to the fridge and pulled out a raw corn on the cob. I offered to cook it several times, but you refused. You tried to take a bite, but your loose front tooth moved and you freaked out. You were crying and really upset because “it’s my favorite tooth” you said. I cooked the corn and cut the kernels off the cob so you could eat them. We watched Elf again and then headed to bed. We read one book, snuggled and you were out in 5 minutes.

      11/26/21 – Manis & Hot Cocoa

      I woke up before you and Daddy. I was sitting on the couch working on your journal. When you woke up around 8a you saw me on the couch and whispered “hey Mama!” from my bed. I came to see what you wanted and you said “I love you Mama!” and wanted me to snuggle with you. You made my day! I climbed in bed and you snuggled with Daddy until you finally woke him up. Carlos was coming so we had to get up and out of the house.

      We went to breakfast then to get our Christmas tree. We dropped Daddy & the tree off at home then headed to Paint Nail Bar for your manicure. You asked me the other day after your pedicure to get your nails done so we made an appointment. You’ve asked me if today was your nail appointment every day since your pedicure lol. We were a few minutes early so we stopped at Starbucks so you could get a cake pop and a hot chocolate. You had fun and enjoyed choosing your color.

      We headed home and you wanted to change your clothes and play for a little bit before we had to go pick up Grandma Weezie to go to Home Goods and to see the lot. You walked her around and showed her the floor plan. Today was the first time we had been inside since they framed in the laundry room, powder bath and pantry. It’s so exciting and I can’t wait to get in there with you! We dropped Grandma Weezie off, picked Daddy up and went to Mi Pueblo for dinner. On the way home we drove through UTC to see the Christmas lights. The movie outside there was Elf, but they were already about 20 minutes into it, it was chilly and we didn’t have chairs, so we went home and watched Elf on the couch. When the movie was over, we went to your room to read. We read several books then you wanted to get up and snack and get a drink. I let you and when we climbed back in bed you were asleep in 5 minutes.

      11/25/21 – Thanksgiving Day

      You slept until 9a and as soon as you got up we put the Macy’s Parade on. You were excited to see the balloons. We had pancakes and played while waiting for Santa! When he came on you were so excited! We watched a little bit of the dog show and then headed out to Lisa Sessa’s house for Thanksgiving Lunch.

      When we arrived, there were tons of kids there and you were having so much fun playing with them and the dogs. Grandma Weezie came too and you ate at least 12 of her pizelles. We had a wonderful time and you didn’t want to leave. We finally left around 7:30p. We went home, read books and then we came out to the living room to get some honey for you and you asked Daddy to finish reading your book. We went back in your room after the story and you were out in 5 minutes. I kissed you and rubbed your forehead. Another beautiful Thanksgiving with you – I’m so grateful for you. I have no idea what my life would be without you. I absolutely adore you.

      11/24/21 – Mom Fail – Legoland…Almost!

      This morning, you slept in until 8:30a, which was great but I was surprised. We had breakfast and then headed to Legoland. It was so busy yesterday, which I didn’t expect, so I thought we would go early, ride a few rides, then head home around noon or so since it was expected to be very busy today. We were there for the countdown to the opening of the park. Unfortunately, when we got to the gate, your preschool pass was blacked out today. You were so sad, but I was very impressed with how you responded. You took it like a champ. It was going to be crazy busy today, so it wasn’t as bad as it could have been, but I was so proud of you. Instead you played happily with your new horse stuffies the entire drive. We went home, Grandma Weezie came over for lunch and we played every board game you own! When we finished, we watched a little TV and I made dinner. When Daddy got home from work, we ate dinner, had ice cream and watched Home Alone. We played for a little while then headed to your room to read books. We read 4 Christmas books while snuggling. You fell asleep just as I was finishing Polar Express. I snuggled with you for a few minutes after you fell asleep just rubbing your forehead. I’m so grateful for you…We had a such a nice time.
