The ride to school was full of writing words and another gift for Ms. Ida at the gate at drop off. Today you were happy to have Spanish again.
You went with Sandy to pick up Harry from the groomer. Chrissy & Olivia came over for dinner. When I got home you were naked and playing & told me how Harry was such a good boy and listened so well at the groomer. We ate and then you wanted to ride bikes with Olivia so you finally ran and got dressed! You stopped on our bike ride to visit with Blue, the crazy French Bulldog puppy. He looks like he’s going to knock you over, scratch & lick you to death every time, but you gladly get on the ground and encourage it! You love dogs so much! Possibly the only thing you love more than your bike!!! After bikes, Olivia went home and we went inside to do some more writing then off to bed for reading books and Lingos.
You woke up and came out to the living room, climbing in my lap on the couch and said “I like to snuggle with you when I first wake up because you are so cozy.”
When I was on my way home from work, Chrissy texted me to see if we would meet her & Olivia for dinner. I asked if you wanted to go to Cheesecake Factory and you excitedly agreed!!!! Daddy met us there and we had a blast. When we finished, you wanted to show Olivia how fun riding the escalators can be! You lined us all up in different orders directing who was the engine and who is the caboose!!! We headed home and you wanted to ride in Daddy’s car of course so you could play with the map!

You picked your outfit for school today and when you came out of your room dressed, you just looked so cute, but also much older than you are. You were lovey with Harry and when we got in the car, you were writing sight words the whole way to school. I’m so proud of you for loving learning so much!
Ms. Sandy was off today, so I picked you up from school a little early. I took you to the lot to show you that they cleared it. When we pulled up, our next door neighbor, Bill Junker was playing fetch with his dog Buddy. You were fascinated with the huge bulldozer still there and happy to play with the dog. You two wore each other out! Peggy & her friends came over to chat too. The temptation was too great & you threw some huge rocks into the water, even though I asked you not too! I thought we would get home early, but we ended up chatting so long that Daddy beat us home!
We made pizza, did some painting crafts and watched a movie. It was an awesome night in after a long exciting week. I can’t wait to watch our house be built together and to spend many happy healthy years together there.
The builder cleared our lot today! We are all so excited to get going. I picked you up after Spanish. You were hugging Gracyn Landsman and you were both signing a song from class. It was absolutely precious.
We went home and I made dinner while you played with Ms. Sandy. When Daddy got home, you took him to the toy room to play with play dough. We dropped Daddy off at Tom Chiappone’s for man night. You wanted to play with Isabella for a few minutes so we did. Then we needed to head home and hit the bed ourselves.
When we pulled into the neighborhood, we saw Ms. Moe & Jack Daniels walking the block. You chatted them up and then we headed home. We played for about 20 minutes and then headed to your room to go to bed.
You insisted on sleeping in the happy napper tonight lol. I kept asking you to come on top of the bed. You said “I prefer to lay on the floor.” I said “well if you’re gonna be on the floor then you have to lay perfectly still.” You were snoring in two minutes! You came to my room around 10:45p so it couldn’t have been very comfortable. You climbed in bed, snuggled with me and were back out in no time!
You woke up dry again! Yay! You first ran to pee then ran back to my bed. You wanted to snuggle and climbed into my lap and curled up in my arms. Then you wanted to watch tv. I told you do your jobs first and you did so we watched a little Tarzan. You were loving on Harry. You told me “I just keep scratching in the same spot. He’s a same spot kinda guy!”
Ms. Sandy was sick today, so I got to pick you up from school. Ms. Jenny told me at the gate at pick up that you were snoring really loud during rest time today lol. Ms. Marian opened the window from the second floor and told me that today she was talking about whether the drinking fountain was open and she asked you “what do you think Giovanna?” You replied “well it’s your school so you can do whatever you want!” She was cracking up!
We got gas and then went home. You love activating Siri in my car and sending text messages to Daddy, Grandma Noot and Ms. Sandy. You Sent this to daddy while I was getting gas
“I love you I was really helpful I want to really sing I love you so much I can’t wait to sleep with you my first night but actually it’s not my first night it’s just I really hope it’s my whole night sleeping with you so I I I really love eating chicken wings out with you but we can’t let Harold out or he would steal the chicken wing to remake it on the furniture I love you bye!”
You took your shirt off in the car and were cracking yourself up when we got out of my car! You wanted to watch Tarzan 2 while I made your chicken wings sauce and baked beans for dinner tonight. Daddy made the wings on the grill while I went to dinner with Grandma Noot and a client. You ate all the baked beans and couldn’t wait to tell me about it when I got home.
You and Daddy did bedtime yoga. When I finished dinner I asked him if he wanted me to come home and put you to bed or wait, he replied, “the bed is a trampoline right now so I will take all the help I can get.” lol I have no idea why you give him such a run for his money. I took you to your room and you were out in no time!
This morning you woke up dry after your first night with no night pants! You were so proud when you woke up! You finally woke you up at 7:45 am. You asked if today was a home day. I said “no, we have school, but you start back to Spanish today!” You got super excited and wanted to do your jobs right away.
You ran to pee real fast and told me “Mommy, you have spots on your tongue. Everyone does. Those are your tastebuds!” We went to your room because you wanted to pick a Spanish shirt to wear today. When we walked by the kitchen Daddy was making breakfast. You said “I just wanna say good morning because I’m running late for school.” You called Daddy on the way to school again…

Today, the builder put up the silt fence around our lot. We should begin construction any day now! I can’t wait!
Ms. Sandy picked you up from Spanish. She warmed up some dinner for you but you weren’t interested in eating… of course, any other time you were STARVING! You called Grandma Noot to invite her to tacos and to make play dough cup cakes. I helped you choose the perfect shoes to wear to dinner and when we went to the garage to get in the car to leave Daddy had the car running. You said “ohhhh we’re taking the GMC today!” It was hilarious.
We Met Grandma Noot at Mi Pueblo. You told us all about how today was your first Spanish class since the parent teacher conferences are now over. When you ordered your drink you immediately said “I need to go to the bano!” you held the basket of chips while you quizzed each of us about Spanish words, colors and numbers. If we got it right, you handed us a chip. When we finished the basket we each had to wear it on our head! You wolfed down your dinner and we came home to play for a little bit. It took a while for you to calm down, but when you did, we snuggled together in your bed and you were out.
You woke up this morning with dry night pants again. It’s been most nights out of the last couple of weeks, you are doing so well. We got up and running. You told me while we were getting ready that you wanted to go out for Chinese food tonight. I told you we could cook Chinese food at home because I have everything already and we have healthy organic ingredients. You called Grandma Noot from the car to invite her to join us at the Chinese restaurant. She agreed that it would taste much better if we made it at home. Plus, then you guys could race your Jeeps on the race track. That sealed the deal! Then you called Daddy to let him know that we were having Chinese food lol. You wouldn’t let me take your picture at school, but you insisted on wearing the same dress as yesterday and it was adorable. I sent an extra dress in case they wanted you to change out of that fancy dress lol.

Giovanna was helping her baby giraffe look for food today while on the playground! G was so excited when she found the mama giraffe to feed her! Love her imagination!
When I got home, we started cooking dinner right away. You were starving and trying to eat a bunch of snacks (I didn’t let you) and then when dinner was ready you preferred to play rather than eat lol. You finally ate (mostly because you were trying to have some of Grandma Weezie’s leftover birthday cake) and we all went around the table telling about our days and evening. You also gave us your “recipe” for how to make shrimp toast. After dinner, we colored and wrote sight words with Grandma Noot.
When we finished working, Grandma Noot came to your room with us and we read a few books before snuggling in bed and she left to go home. You were a little squirmy at first, but settled down when we agreed that you could sleep tonight with no night pants because you’ve been doing so great waking up with dry pants. I actually fell asleep with you because I was tired too!
You slept until 9am which was no surprise after the fun filled weekend we have had! Today is Grandma Weezie’s birthday and you were excited to make her several birthday cards.
