1/19/21

You came to my room around 3am and you were snoring hard when I got up for yoga. When I came back you just looked so peaceful I hated to wake you. You played so hard yesterday I wanted to let you sleep in as long as I could. You got up quickly after I woke you and got going. You had spectacular (or spectac-cleee-ur as you pronounce it) listening ears this morning. I made 3 scrambled eggs for breakfast this morning because I thought Daddy would have some, but he didn’t so I packed them up in a container and brought them with us. On the way to school you ate ALL of the eggs. I couldn’t believe it! You also had cherries and mango!!! When we were walking to the gate at school we were almost there & you grabbed your lunch box, sweatshirt and your pasta bag (we brought for the sensory walk) and said “Bye Mom, have a good day!”

When I picked you up from school, I asked if you told anyone about LegoLand. You said, “first thing this morning I told all my friends that I got a real drivers license at LegoLand so I can drive a real car now!” You were so excited!!! We had to stop home to bring in groceries and I needed to change clothes (it was freezing when I left work). I cooked a chicken breast for you and cut some fruit to take to Urfer Park to play. You quickly made a friend who you played with the whole time. You offered her some chicken (which was super sweet but of course her Mom said no) and ran around like crazy. You climbed a huge rock wall all by yourself then got scared about getting down. I was trying to convince you to turn around and scoot your belly against the rocks, but you were starting to get upset. So, I reminded you to calm down, take a few deep breaths and think about how we can solve the problem. You found a different ledge to stand on where you could put your feet on my shoulders and we held hands. You were able to “fall” right into me. I gave you a hug and told you how proud I was of you staying calm and focusing on solving the problem. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and scared. Good work!

On the way home, we FaceCalled Daddy. He met us at home and I made dinner for us. You and Daddy took Harry for a walk around the block. You gave up walking with Ms Moe, Jack Daniels, Mr Franklin and Gus & Ginger the Dalmatians to come back home to watch the Frozen Lego movie short with me!!! How sweet!!!

1/18/21 – 1st Trip to LegoLand!

You woke up this morning around 7am. You climbed into bed with Daddy & when I came in after yoga you popped up and asked me to come snuggle with you guys in bed. You showered with Daddy & when you go out, I dried you off. I told you to go pick out your outfit so we are late to LegoLand. You said, “Ohhhhh I forgot! I thought I had school today!!!” You squealed with excitement when you realized that we were in for such a fun day. You got dressed, we packed up the car and went to pick up Chrissy and Olivia. On the way, you told me “I love my family so much! I love you Mommy!” I thanked you for filling my bucket.

We stopped for breakfast on the way out of town.

We jumped back in the car to head to LegoLand. You and Olivia snacked the whole way there even though we stopped for breakfast. You LOVED the park so much!!!! It was the perfect size for us and not overwhelming. You loved all the rides and even though today was the MLK holiday it wasn’t super busy. You loved pushing Olivia in the stroller and it was adorable how you kept putting your arms around her on the smaller rides.

When we got toward the back of the park, we found the bigger rides so we split up. You wanted to ride Coastersaurus, the big wooden coaster. When we got in the car you were excited. Then we took off and you were “screaming” in a good way. Then all of a sudden you got a little scared. Then back to loving it! You were saying “My stomach does not like this. I’m never going on this again!” Then I asked do you want to do it again? “You said Yes!” This was classic!!!!! After the coaster we went back to the driving school so you could drive the cars and get your drivers license. You were over the moon about the license and kept insisting that now you need a real car. I advised you to talk with Daddy about that! We headed back up front because the park closed. When Olivia saw us she ran to you with open arms screaming “Giovanna!!!!” We packed up the car and headed to grab dinner.

When the waitress came she asked what you would like to have. You replied, “I would like chicken wings please.” She asked, how would you like them prepared? You replied, “I like them roasted on the grill please!” She lost it and couldn’t believe how funny that was…The whole restaurant was dying lol!

We ordered a sampler appetizer and some pizza to share as well. When the pizza came, you said “Mom, I’m in for that pizza!” You were on a roll today and just about everything you said was hilarious. You started chatting with the couple sitting next to us. You even showed him Olivia’s books and were “teaching” him what was in it!

We were talking about your drivers license and how you now want a “real car” so I asked what kind of car you want. You said “I want a yellow tundra truck with rainbow tires!” I told you that you will have to talk to Daddy about that!

You and Olivia sang songs and chatted for a good bit of the drive home. You fell asleep around Tampa and she kept on going! When we got home, Daddy carried you in and laid you in your bed. I got your pants changed and snuggled you for a few minutes. You were snoring in 30 seconds. That was one amazing day! I’m so glad we went.

I was finishing my yoga practice and you came in and wanted to do some yoga too

I woke you up at 7:30a and you were surprisingly happy after 2 late nights to bed.

office. Really good. Chatted w girls. Kicked my yoga ball around like a champ. A little back talk when we left but you were starving. In car on mwah home you told

me you were tired and didn’t get enough sleep at achool

after dinner walked block. You brought scooter.

Bug fight at bedtime w lots of back talk. I left and tou were mad and crying. You came out to living room and said “mom, can we start over?”
you gave me a huge hug and. The most sincere apology ever. Tou said im sorry we emptied each other’s buckets. I didn’t speak kind to tou and tou speak kind to me. I’m sorry

went back to your room together after snuggling on coach and lots of hugs and kisses. You climbed on me and were out in no time

During dinner, you were telling Daddy about your drawing that came home from school today. Each person was a different color. You said “I’m green. I’m sad because I missed you!” When I picked you up from school you were super talkative. You told me that when you grow up you are going to take Harold to Cuba on a leash.

Started to head to bed at 8:30p. You told me earlier in the car

You slept in until almost 9am. You came out dressed & so excited to show me what you did. You walked me to your room, opened the door and kept repeating “close your eyes and keep coming.” When you let me open them I saw that you made your bed and were so proud. As soon as we finished, you took Daddy down to surprise him too!

I was making breakfast while you were coloring & working on letters with Daddy. After we ate, you did a Kiwi Crate with him that was pirate themed,
