You asked to sleep in my bed. We went in there & we called Daddy on FaceCall. You got mad that I wouldn’t turn on the TV, so I told you we needed to talk to Daddy first. You told me “you don’t want me to have any fun ever!” You couldn’t settle down so we hung up with Daddy & went back to your room. You calmed down when we got to your room, I scratched your back, we rocked in the chair & you were asleep in no time.

You did a great job at gymnastics today. You were excited that Coach Nickie was teaching your class. You were swinging from the rope in the ninja warrior course & kicked a pumpkin balloon on the rings with ease. You are so strong and getting better each day!
After gymnastics, we went to fancy breakfast with Daddy, Chrissy & Olivia. When you ordered, you asked for “waffles, fruit in a white bowl not in top of my waffle, bacon and milk and water.” We went to Detweiler’s (you insisted on a snack even though we literally just left breakfast!) then came home and you watched TV naked, laying on the floor in the living room. Fed is working on a production of Nightmare Before Christmas so you wanted to watch that for a little bit. After we finished watching TV, we ran to the mall & Whole Foods. You unloaded the cart & paid the bill. We planted some new herbs we bought and then Daddy was calling you through the doorbell. You grabbed a prosciutto, mozzarella & cracker pack at the store. When you ate it in the car you said “Mom, I know you’re a big fan of prosciutto!”

This morning, you woke up around 7:30am. You came out to the living room & Daddy & I were chatting on the couch. He asked where your night pants were and you said “on Daddy’s side of the bed!” You finally went and got dressed after lots of discussion about it. Daddy tried to get you to wear your Steelers jersey today. Even though he begged you, you chose your DD shirt instead. You promised you would wear it on Sunday for the Browns game instead.
We were going to try to bring donuts for the teachers today, but we just ran too late! We Facecalled Grandma Noot on the way to school. When we got to school, you jumped right out, grabbed your lunch box & headed in the gate with Ms. Amber. You were excited that Chrissy & Olivia would be picking you up this afternoon.
I got a message from school that said – We had so much fun learning about apples this week! We explored the different parts, measured, weighed and even painted with them! And today we made applesauce with them!
Ms. Marian sent us an email with a picture of you and her making apple glasses. Today was the end of apple week & you got to make applesauce. Each student got to peel, core & slice the apples to make the applesauce, then you got to eat it after naptime!
When Chrissy picked you up, you were singing her a song about a spooky skeleton.

You came to my room at 5 AM I have to be up early for work because I have a closing at 6 AM you open the bathroom door and then climb back into bed with daddy told me you were snuggling with daddy because he took you to bed last night I told you need to get more rest because it’s still nighttime you asked if the moon was still out I said yes you said the baby alligators in the pond are in their bedrooms sleeping in their tiny bedrooms and their mommy and daddy alligators are in the big bedrooms sleeping because the moon is still out
I told you I would pick you up from school when you said you would rather Chrissy and baby Olivia pick you up because you get to go to the park
when I picked you up you came out of the gate and said good job mom for picking me up in two minutes
We ran to Whole Foods to get snacks and then headed to gymnastics. Coach Nicki saw me and asked you where Miss Sandy was and you said let me tell you about the bad thing that happened at my house. Then proceeded to tell her all about what happened to Sandy shoulder

Do you want to play when we got home with daddy. Asked me for two more minutes about 50 times LOL you ended up scamming an extra half an hour to play paw patrol with Dani. Then you wanted him to take you to bed I came in to read your story you snuggled with me and Ben but then told me to leave because daddy was gonna live with you if you and daddy fell asleep fast?

We chatted with Grandma Noot on Facecall on the way to school. You told her you were so excited to bring your apple to school today. It’s apple week & you will get to make applesauce on Friday! At drop off, you were looking for a spot to take your picture & Ms. Amber suggested you stand by the very festive pumpkins, so she posed with you.
Chrissy picked you up from school today & took you & Olivia to Circus park for a little bit. We met home around 5p & ate dinner. Chrissy booked us an impromptu pumpkin photo shoot for tomorrow. After dinner, we ran to TJ Maxx, Nordstrom & Target to try to find some matching outfits for you & Olivia. Of course you found a Chase that you wanted lol. We had fun shopping. When we were checking out at TJ Maxx, you were telling the cashier that you have a Chase at home but that this one is different so you needed another one lol. Then another cashier peeked around the corner. When you saw you she stopped in her tracks. She kept saying what a beautiful child. She asked you your name and you said “Giovanna Sofia Koontz. Giovanna is my first name, Sofia is my middle name and Koontz is my last name. I’m 4 years old. Four.” You were so good in all the stores we did grab a Chase toy. When we got home, you were so excited to show it to Daddy. You guys played with all the Paw Patrols in the toy room. You used my yoga mat as “water” and Chase would rescue all the pups from the water with his hook! lol. You had so much fun. When I came in to say it was bedtime, you & Daddy asked very nicely for a few more minutes. So, a half hour later, I was back, way later than it should be on a school night. You promptly thanked me for the extra play time and jumped straight into bed. You snuggled and kissed me & fell asleep in about 10 minutes!
