2/9/22 – Late Night Tooth Fairy Party

You slept in until 8a then you came to the living room asked me “is today a school day?” When I said yes, it’s Wednesday you ran into the dining room crying and stomping your feet. I felt the same way lol! Daddy took you to school & said you were a role model at drop off!

You warned Micha at school “my mom had something important to do after school so I can’t wait for you.” I picked you up and we went to my office to do a quick closing. Romo gave you gum and you were so happy about it! When we got home, you rode your bolt scooter and I walked Hank. We had tacos for dinner and played for a bit before we headed to your room to read books and go to bed. Just as we were about to finish our books, you lost your second top front tooth!! The bad part was it was 9p and you were almost asleep! Once this happened, you wanted to go show Daddy and you were excited so it took about 45 minutes or so to get you settled back down and back to sleep. You woke up crying & came to my room at 1:30a afraid the tooth fairy had skipped you. I took you back to your room to show you that you weren’t forgotten. You wanted to stay in your room so we climbed back in bed. Then you realized there was a box on your dresser and got back up. You found the walkie talkies in there and that was it!!!! You wanted to play with them and ran to wake Daddy up to have him put batteries in them. However, we had already done that and you just needed to turn them on. Now it’s 2a and the whole house is awake! You played for a while and we finally got back to sleep around 3:30a! We are both going to be hurting tomorrow!

2/8/22 – I Want To Skip Kindergarten

You came to our room at 6:30a. I took Hank out to pee & none of us went back to sleep. When we were getting ready you said to me “I want to skip kindergarten and go to first grade where there’s older friends who won’t be mean to me. But I guess I would have to say goodbye to Ms. Wolleon and I don’t want that!”

After dinner, we were writing out Valentines. I was asking if you wanted to do Kye next. You said “oh my God I have fallen in love with him!” Ms. Wolleon texted me and said “She made me laugh today, she did something and whispered to herself “god dammit” She had it in the right context and everything!” She also told me not to yell at you!

2/7/22 – A Car Picnic

You came home from school & wanted to have a picnic in the back of my car and practice using your new skates. We played outside and blew bubbles even though it was getting really chilly it didn’t bother you! I finally got you to come inside. You read Shazam to me and then rolled over and went to sleep!

2/6/22 – Jumpin’ Christmas Birthday Fun!

You and Olivia woke up by 7:15a. I made pancakes for breakfast then Chrissy took you both to Jumpin Fun to play for a bit. I got everything ready for you for Rylan’s birthday party. It was at her neighborhood playground and you guys had a blast. You got to paint, play, eat and hit the pinata!

Ms. Sandy came over so we could finally do our Christmas gift exchange. She got your roller skates and you were absolutely in love. You wanted to use them immediately! You had so much fun with her & it was so good to see her. We went to dinner at Da Ru Ma and you wanted to wear the skates to dinner!!! This was such a fun action packed day!

I ran to the condo to grab jackies computer

picked you up and dropped daddy at chippones for wedding reception. you were grumpy. we stopped at TJ Maxx to get bday gift for Rylan’s party tomorrow. you asked me to carry you and you were about to fall asleep on my shoulder.
Chrissy came over. we made dinner and they spent the night. You were asleep before Olivia!

1/31/22 – Mom, You Go Relax!

This morning, you insisted on wearing your entire illegal leopard outfit. You came into my room all dressed and ready to go, including wearing your coat! You wanted to start writing out your Valentine’s cards during breakfast. Ms. Wolleon texted me within a few minutes and said she loved your outfit. You were so excited to get to wear your new cheetah socks!

I picked you up and you couldn’t wait for Daddy to get home because he took Hank to work. You missed him so much! When Daddy got home, you couldn’t wait to give your presentation of your timeline project to him. You snuggled with Hank and you wanted Daddy to take you to bed. You told me “Mom, you go relax and I will read with Daddy!” I smiled and was a little sad because I will be at our firm planning conference this week so this was my last chance to take you to bed. But, in fairness, Daddy was gone the last two weeks and you missed him so much!

1/30/22 – No Refund!

You got to sleep in this morning, which you needed. You came to my room around 8:30a. We snuggled for a few minutes, took Hank out, then snuggled on the couch before making breakfast. It was a little warmer today played with Hank outside for a long time! We had a nice, relaxing home day to just regroup after such a chaotic few days! You finally took a huge poop, but still no quarter!!!! We watched some movies and watched the NFC & AFC championship games. You took a bath, we snuggled and headed to bed to read.

1/29/22 – Photos & Pancakes

This morning, I had to wake you up around 8:15a to get ready to go to your Valentine’s photo shoot. I felt bad to wake you up after the last couple of days being so crazy and you were sleeping so soundly. It was just a mini session so we weren’t there long, but we did get some cute photos. After we finished, you went to fancy breakfast with Daddy & I went to the new house to plan some things with Marcela.

When we finished, we hung at home and had movie night because it was freezing. I made short ribs for you and Daddy and you were so excited to tear them up!!! We took the dogs for a walk and you were bundled up riding in the wagon, which you were really happy about and really comfortable in. I was cold so I took Harry and you guys took Hank for one more lap. That wore them both out and the dogs napped the rest of the night. You got out every single toy and Daddy & I played with you on the floor. Finally, we headed to bed and I was surprised it took you a while to fall asleep. You were definitely exhausted!

1/28/22 – You Told The Whole Story!

For the last day of Launching Into Literacy week, you had to wear a galaxy themed outfit. By 9:45a Ms. Wolleon texted me and said “She told the whole class the story during morning share 😂😂 Even how she threw up in your car four times HAHA.” You also presented your timeline project at school.

Picked you up from school and Daddy had just landed at SRQ airport. We went to pick him up and took him to Coast to get his car. You were so happy to see him you jumped out of my car to go ride with him. We went home, made pizza and snuggled watching movies. I thought for sure you would go to bed early after last night, but you didn’t want to leave Daddy’s side, so it was a little later than usual when we finally all went to bed together.

1/27/22 – I Swallowed A Quarter!

Today we took both Harry & Hank to school and you love letting kids pet them. You got to wear your jammies and bring your favorite stuffy (your cheetah)

After school we went home to drop the dogs off & you fell asleep in car on the way. I was so surprised!

You woke up and wanted to wear your illegal leopard outfit. I surprised you with a new pair of illegal leopard socks since you got a 100% on your sight words test last week and finished the Kindergarten sight words list! We met Chrissy and Olivia at Mi Pueblo for school spirit night.

We called Daddy on the way home. You told him “the good news is I’m going to the electric chair like you! I ate my entire quesadilla and all my smiley fries. There wasn’t even a speck left!”

We put the finishing touches on your timeline project since it is due tomorrow. Then we climbed in bed. We were trying to read, but Hank was playing and being crazy. You asked me to take him to the crate so I did. When I took came back, you had a quarter in your mouth which I didn’t know. You were crying and telling me you swallowed it by accident. I asked you why you had a quarter in your mouth and you said “because it was dirty and I needed to clean it!” OMG I about died. I didn’t know what to do so I immediately called Aunt Deb & Uncle Dali. We had to go to the ER to get an X-Ray. You vomited in the car in the parking lot which really scared me and upset you. I had to change you out of your jammies and put you in the extra clothes from the car. SMH was busy and the wait was forever so you kept asking to leave. We left and went to Doctor’s Hospital. There was no wait and everyone was so nice. We were in and out of there in a little more than an hour. The staff made you fell so comfortable and you weren’t scared. The X-Ray tech showed you the image and the Dr. advised the quarter was already in your small intestine so it was past anywhere dangerous. Aunt Deb, Uncle Dali and Ms. Sandy were staying in touch by text to make sure you were doing ok. They took your X-Ray right away then we had to wait to be discharged. They brought you a warm blanket and you fell asleep in my arms. You looked so precious. I was so scared earlier and so relieved to know you were ok. We got home around midnight and you wanted to snuggle with Hank. It took a little while for us both to fall asleep. I suspect I will never have to tell you not to put something in your mouth again!
