12/11/21 – All Aboard! Polar Express Night

I met with Marcela at the new house while you stayed home and played with Daddy. He got an alarm call at Coast so you guys went to the office. You were excited that it was your first time for a Police Officer to “help my Daddy!” I came home, with Olivia, who had just fallen asleep and needed to nap. You stood by your bed and said “my one wish is to lay in the bed with her!” You laid stuffies by her so she would sleep well and be able to have lots of fun tonight. When she woke up, you guys took a bath together then we made dinner. Becky & Bianca came over and all you girls were playing.

We headed out to the Polar Express. This is one of my absolute favorite traditions. You were up late last night at Fed’s performance and although you slept in you were still tired. You fell asleep in the car on the way there. Once we arrived, I let you sleep in the car until the first train returned. I woke you up and carried you to the gate. You perked up as soon as we got on the train, but we didn’t get to take any pictures before hand like I usually do. You needed the rest and I glad you got it. All of us went in one room to see Santa and it was so much fun. You tried to be a little shy at first, but he told you he knew you were really good. You told him you wanted a Bengal tiger and he said nothing that poops can come on his sleigh! Great set up for Hank, who will be coming next week, and also can’t be delivered in the sleigh! We played, made smores, made reindeer food and danced. It was a magical night. We got home around 11 but you were wired so you didn’t fall asleep until midnight!!! I was tired, but you weren’t!! It was completely worth it!!!

12/10/21 – Stars for Fed!

You were so happy going into school today! You were chatting up Ms. Wood at the door and drug all your slime with you! The breeder sent me an updated photo of Hank today. He is so cute and I can’t wait for him to come home with us!

When we got home, we played playdough for a little bit then did your nails. You wanted to wear a fancy dress to Fed’s performance of Joseph & the Technicolor Dreamcoat tonight. We picked up Grandma Weezie and Ms. Sandy met us at the auditorium. When Fed came out on stage the look on your face was priceless. You were smiling so big and waving so excitedly to him. You sat on Aunt Deb’s lap most of the show and kept telling her you were sad that Fed wasn’t waving back to you!! She told you he would get in trouble if he did! At intermission, we went and bought a star for him and you decorated it with so much effort! After the show, you ran up to him and gave him a huge hug! He walked you around proudly and introduced you to all the cast members. We didn’t get home until 10p so we went straight to bed.

12/9/21 – Luca On The Lawn

This morning, we were running behind but you made me and Daddy go into your room when you found Little Red sitting on a picture on your wall. You couldn’t believe it! We were a minute late to school and you walked in with Mr. Erickson showing him your extra bookbag of toys.

Tonight was movie night in the courtyard on campus. They were playing Luca and you were so excited to go. When I picked you up from school, we went to the car to drop your bookbag and change your clothes into your long dress. You got to go to the Holiday Shoppe today and you were excited to show me all the things you bought for yourself. You also bought a bracelet for me and gave it to me at the car and showed me a bag you bought for Grandma Weezie and Grandma Noot. We went back to the Holiday Shoppe and you bought even more. When we were in the shop, you showed me the necklace you got for Grandma and said “it is perfect! I can’t wait to give it to her!” We went to say hi to Ms. Wolleon and you showed me your picture on the gingerbread man on the door to your room. Also, you showed me your elf trap drawing and explained that you wouldn’t write how to catch him because you didn’t want to be on the naughty list. We saw Rylan and her family and she wanted to sit by us. We shared pizza, snacks and candy.

We had a super fun night & headed home to bed after the movie. You weren’t happy that we couldn’t stay up and play but it was 8:15p and we needed to get in bed. After a brief shouting match, you were snoring 2 minutes after we laid down listening to your Zenimal and asleep by 8:30p. Every time you are that grumpy, I should just get silent, because you are always just so tired. I apologized for shouting at you. I love you and can’t kiss you enough.

12/8/21 – Your First Rubik’s Cube

I couldn’t get back to sleep after you came to my room last night. I finally got out of bed at 2am to do some housework. You were snuggled up so cute with Daddy. When you got up, you found Little Red sitting in your tree and he left you a note and a sticker book. You were shocked! You wanted to hang the letter in your room!

At school, you walked up to the gate turned around, smiled, waved and blew me kisses saying have a good day mom! It was a striking difference from Monday morning when you didn’t want me to go! When we got home, we played play dough together then you helped me make stir fry. Daddy came home. We FaceTimed Grandma Noot. After dinner, we walked 4 laps with Ms. Mo and Jack Daniels while you biked. Daddy taught you to solve one side of a Rubik’s cube. You mastered it right away and you were so excited. We got to bed late because of biking and it was 9:40p by the time you were snoozing.

12/7/21 – Cake Pops!

Jackie stayed until we left for school. You had her in your room showing her your shoes.

I picked you up from school we went to my office to see Elizabeth. You got a cake pop surprise which you were so excited about. We went to the house to meet Aunt Deb and Daddy. I had to run to drinks with Marina and a client and you and Daddy went home to make chicken wings. I was home before bed. You had trouble falling asleep. I stayed with you until midnight. I got up to get a water and you came running to the living room crying and I asked if you wanted to come to my room and you did. You were back out in no time!!

12/3/21

ypu came to my room at 630a. You were trying not to go back to sleep but you finally did at 650. I got up and showered bc I had to meet Layla Evangelista and Anastasia Townsend’s moms to decorate your classroom door for the contest. Daddy got you up and brought you to school. You ran up and hugged me in the hallway when you arrived. You were so excited and kept telling us how beautiful everything looked!! I picked you up at lunchtime and we ran home, grabbed our bags, grabbed lunch,

swung by Marcelas office to finalize dining room table and chairs & hit the road to the Gaylord Palms for the Christmas weekend! We shared a room with Lisa and Lucy Wallace. When we walked in, you ran up to Lisa and have her a huge hug. She brought you guys a bunch of cool stuff – matching elf aprons for all of us to wear to gingerbread making, Christmas lights to decorate the room and light up hair ties. We decorated and did the snow mountain slides. Went to dinner. Lisa took you and Lucy to room and you got lipstick. When we sat down Lisa asked you if you wanted to sit by Lucy. You said “no I want to sit by you because I want to be fancy (she gave lipstick in the room) you wanted her to.back to room. Our by 9

This morning you were up by 730 and showered with me. We got ready and got to school early. You asked me to sit on the steps with you and snuggle. We did until the gates were closing. I will take that alllll day long!
I picked you up and we went to Daddy’s office to snack visit and change clothes. We all headed to AstroSkate for the Bay Haven spirit night party. Chrissy and Olivia came and so did Ms. Sandy. The music was a little too loud for you, but you caught on to skating pretty well. You were a little frustrated that you weren’t an olympic skater
