1/3/22 – Puppy Snuggles

You woke up this morning at 6am and came to my room to get me. I went back to your room with you after I took Hank out to pee. Both you and Hank went back to sleep and he was all curled up in your neck. I just love seeing you so happy with him. You slept in until 8:30a. You woke up starving and wolfed down an egg sandwich for breakfast.

We headed to Paint because I had a nail appointment. Christine had time so you got a manicure as well. You finished before me and chatted up the lady at the table behind me until her service was complete as well. You saw a huge pair of tiger earrings at the check out and had a mini meltdown about wanting your ears pierced so you could wear the tiger earrings and you kept insisting that you needed pierced ears “to look beautiful.” I assured you that you are beautiful already and don’t need earrings to be beautiful but you weren’t having any of that! After nails we ran to Natuzzi to meet Marcela to select fabric for the living room chairs. You very much enjoy comparing fabrics and commenting on your thoughts about what matches. You have been very involved in all the selections and I love it! We ran home to grab Hank and headed back to the condo.

When we got to the condo, Grandma Weezie was there waiting for us. You showed her your room and all your toys. She brought you some books and we had lunch, watched a little bit of Encanto and played class. When she left, you wanted to go exploring, but not in the car! We walked down to the beach, gathered a few shells, stopped on every floor of the condo building to check out the views and ran to Publix. Daddy met us at the condo after work. We had dinner, watched a little Secrets of the Zoo and then we headed to bed around 8:15p. You were happily snuggled up with Hank for your stories and he fell asleep before you!

1/2/22 –

You slept in until 8:15a and then you and Bianca got up to play. We made cinnamon rolls and pancakes for breakfast then headed to the pool right away. You guys played at the beach for a little bit then we had lunch. I brought food down to the pool so we could make lunch & you guys barely took a break long enough to eat. Chrissy and Olivia came after that and stayed for sunset.
The three of you had some trouble all playing together out of the pool. Back inside the condo you and Bianca didn’t want to let Olivia play with you guys. Then Chrissy asked you if you could help Olivia learn and teach her how to play the game you were playing. You said “oh yes, I can do that!” You opened the door and welcomed Olivia in. But then you wouldn’t play with Bianca. She got really sad and it was getting late so Becky and Bianca left. I had a big talk with you about how that made them feel and how you would feel if you were excluded. You called Bianca to apologize. Then you played with Olivia for a little bit until the sun was getting ready to set and we went down to the beach to watch. The water was freezing but you didn’t care and still played in the waves. After the sunset you were asking me to get in the pool but it felt chilly to me. Chrissy pushed me in and we had a blast swimming. We dried off and headed upstairs to shower and have dinner. We watched Encanto and a little bit of Luca. Around 9:15p we shut the movie off and headed to bed. You were so excited to sleep in your new room, on the air mattress, with both Hank & Harold in your bed. We read one princess bedtime story and you were out like a light.

1/1/22

We got up around 7:45a to let Hank out. You had some left over donuts from your trip with Daddy yesterday. We did some SnapChat pics and then got ready to head over to the condo. Daddy took you there and I ran some errands on my way out there.

When I arrived, I made lunch and we had our first of many meals to come. Our dining room table hasn’t arrived yet so we ate on the patio furniture inside lol. Hank and Harry played ad settled in nicely. Around 5p both Bianca and Olivia arrived. Chrissy & Olivia only stayed for about an hour, but Bianca was here for a sleep over. When Bianca walked in the door you ran up to hug her and yelled “Bianca! I missed you so much!” We headed down to the beach for the sunset and you & Bianca had your feet in the water even though it was freezing. You came up to me and asked if you could get your dress wet. The look on your face was priceless when I said yes! You were both so excited & ran into the waves fully dressed!
