I Facetimed you this morning. You were eating breakfast, naked, in your tent in the living room. I learned that you didn’t go to sleep until 10:30p last night. I asked why & you said “I didn’t want to sleep.”

During class before our sensory walk the class tried walking different ways on our feet: on the balls, on our heels, even walking backward on the sides of our feet! For art today, friends tried drawing with their feet! it took quite an effort to get a good grip with our toes! Giovanna said it was fun but so silly!

We had an incredible morning with our annual Sensory Walk! We were so proud of all the Pre-K students bravely walking through each different texture. 

Daddy took you to Circus park after school. I called when you got out of school and he told me that Lilly said your curls were stupid.

    Daddy woke you up at 7 & you took a shower. We Facetimed on the way to school. I told you that I miss you so much. You asked “when do I get to go to that condo mama?”

    Daddy took you to whole foods. you brought your seek and find book. Daddy had you in the cart. you were barking orders to go get strawberries. bananas. get organic. should we get milk? yes but get a half gallon not a gallon.

    add story about biking. saw girl who said hi. you said hi. you told daddy her voice was so beautiful.

    1/27/21 – Showers and Shadows!

    You slept in your bed all night and Daddy had to wake you up at 8am. Our final walk through at the house was this morning and you helped Daddy clean up. You got yourself dressed, made your bed & cleaned your toy room.

    In the Sandbox App from school I got this message “Today we learned about shadows and how they are formed! On the playground several friends volunteered to have their shadows traced in order to see how the size and orientation changes as the sun moves across the sky. The final photo shows the change after just 15 minutes, and the kids were just amazed!”

    We FaceTimed before we went to dinner. You already had dinner, Daddy made you Mac & Cheese, and you were eating an Oat Bar.

    You didn’t fall sleep until 10pm! Daddy said you were tired & fighting it.

    I Facetimed with you while you were eating breakfast. You told me that you did pee in your nightpants so tonight you have to start over day 1 again. You were so cute. I told you I miss you so much and you said “I know…I miss you so much too.” You were eating a giant egg sandwich and were dressed in your Steelers jersey.

    1/24/21

    When I woke up you were sleeping so hard and looked so peaceful, although the way you were laying didn’t look very comfortable to me. You woke up around 8:30am and ran out of my room to come find me. We assembled your two terrariums that you got for Christmas. You did such a great job and were so excited to plant your seeds. You asked me to make waffles for breakfast and I did while you took a shower. I had to leave to go to Ponte Vedra Beach for our coaching conference. You helped me load up my car and when I left I was tearing up. I was so emotional all of a sudden out of nowhere. I realize I hadn’t left you overnight in over a year since the girls and I went to Antigua.

    Played with hose in the dirt. Puzzles with Daddy. Bike with Daddy.
    Hey G, let me know when you are hungry and I will throw the wings on. I’m hungry now, well, not really, I am not hungry, but I really want chicken wings, so I said I was hungry.
    The chicken wing queen lives on.

    She brought the waffles to dinner.

    G got me while I was unloading the dishwasher.

    We are trying to have no wet night pants while you are gone. Daddy sent a picture of you sleeping by 8:40p!

    G said. “This is my house mask that I wear in the house so I don’t get coronavirus from you guys!”

    1/20/21 – When This Dog Gets Really Old And Has To Go To Heaven We Can Get A Puppy!

    I picked you up from school & you had a great day. When we got home we played in your toy room with golf balls. You pointed at Harold and said “when this dog gets really old and has to go to heaven we can get a puppy.”

    We went to the Romos for dinner so Daddy & I could sign papers for the sale of our house. You colored Toy Story pages with Romo & enjoyed a banana milkshake for dessert!

    When we got home and Ingrid’s family were out walking Benji. You grabbed your scooter and bike to ride around and show off. No one could believe you are only 4.5 years old! We had to go in and head to bed. It took forever & it was after 10p before you were asleep, but you fell asleep curled up in my arms and there’s nothing better in the world!

    I love you so much!
