10/15/22

You and Daddy slept in late, so I took Hank & Harold out for a walk. While I was gone, you woke up and were worried because you couldn’t find me. You woke Daddy up because you were worried after calling me on Alexa but I didn’t answer. When I walked in the door you threw your arms around me like I was gone for 4 years lol.

Daddy & I completely reorganized the garage at Grandma Noot’s house while you ate breakfast & rode your Bolt scooter up and down the street. When we finished, we headed out to the condo. We got settled in and I accidentally fell asleep on the couch… I think we all did! It was a tough week and it felt good to get back in our own space and not be staring at all those boxes.

We headed downstairs to swim, but the rain had rolled in. It didn’t stop you and you were so excited to play in the rain. You ran and “took a cannonball” in the pool and jumped right back out because it was freezing. Jimmey came down to play for a little bit and then we went to dinner with the Romanoff’s at Salty Dog. You and Jimmey played so well together and after dinner walked the dock and used boat lines as microphones to give a big concert lol. When we got home, you took a shower, jumped in jammies and headed up to their condo to watch Super Pets. You guys ate popcorn, cookies and god knows what else. I finally got you to go down to our unit around 10p. You complained because you weren’t tired, but were completely passed out in 5 minutes!

10/14/22 – Climbing High

You slept with Hank in your room last night and came to my room at 6:15a because he needed to pee. We took him out and you were trying to be up for the day. I made you climb in bed with me and snuggle and you snuggled up with me and fell back to sleep quickly. Then I had to wake you up at 8:15a so we could head to school.

We had parent teacher conferences this morning, so I dropped you off at the office for a few minutes to hang with the girls. When I got back, you were teaching Jennie and playing class. Ms. Marchese had nothing but wonderful things to say about you academically and socially. She said you are a great friend, very empathetic and a hard worker. She did say you are a little sneaky and sometimes play with stuff in your desk, like pictures of Hank lol. You scored in reading and math in the first assessment of the year where they want you to be by the end of the year. I’m so proud of you for doing so well in school and I’m so happy you love your teachers and friends at school.

We left the office, ran a few errands and met Rylan & Shyla at O’Leary’s for lunch. We stayed and played a the park until 4:50p. You guys had fun running, dancing, playing, swinging & climbing a huge tree that fell during the hurricane. You were climbing a huge branch up high and started to get scared. You kept repeating “the fear isn’t going to win!”

We left to meet the people who bought our house on Molly Circle to give them the keys and get the last of our things. You stood on the front porch and said bye bye Molly Circle! We went to dinner at Gecko’s then headed back to Grandma Noot’s. In the car you told me you wanted to take a shower and get in your PJs. You were dressed so warm and played so hard that you were sweating all day. We did shower as soon as we got home and then you wanted to do some homework and sight words. We finally got in bed, read your shark book and watched a quick YouTube video about viper dogfish sharks – you were asleep by 10:15p.

10/13/22

I came to school for lunch and stayed for recess because you wanted me to! I love coming and enjoy seeing how you play with the kids. No school tomorrow because you have parent teacher conferences. We met a lady who bought your baby crib at Molly then met Daddy at Mi Pueblo for dinner. When we got home you put some music on and threw a concert in the living room. I was tired and tried to get you to go to bed, but you were committed to staying up late since there’s no school tomorrow. I fell asleep with you in your bed snuggling together. I love you so much!

10/12/22 – Reunited!

You ate your breakfast and were ready early, so we stopped at Dunkin but they were out of donuts so we went to Jack’s Donuts and grabbed a donut for Ms. Wolleon and Ms. Marchese. As soon as you got to your classroom, Ms. Marchese sent me a photo of you reunite with Cheetie!!! You were so happy to see him again.

When I picked you up from school, I broke the news to you that I learned this morning when I met with our project manager that house will be delayed again and instead of moving in November it will be December. I was so upset and a little tearful. You put your hand on my shoulder and said “Mama, it’s fine! I LOVE my room at Grandma Noot’s house. My toys are in my room! I’ve NEVER had my toys in my room before!” Then you told me “it’s ok Mama. It’s a lot. I know you are sad, but it’s a lot.” My heart immediately melted. I know it will all be ok, I just wanted Christmas to be perfect and it’s so much harder to do if we aren’t settled. But as always, you are right there to remind me that all we need to is to be together. I love you so much and appreciate your perspective always. I felt so much better.

You passed out early tonight. We’ve all been exhausted all week and could use the rest!

I came to lunch and you were so excited

Forgot cheedie at school you were crying so hard when I picked you up from little medical school

i texted Ms Marchese to see if she noticed him. she had him safely. We stopped at Starbucks to help cheer you up! Daddy ran to storage to grab some things and he brought your Minnie Mouse stuffy so you could have a stuffy for bedtime!

10/10/22

you slept great last night your first night in Grandma Noots house. You ran into our room at 7:30a excited to go to school!

today was your first day back after the hurricane!
After school we went to Pop Craft to get a popsicle then stopped at Detweiler’s to get some pumpkins!
Chrissy & Olivia came for dinner and to play a little bit. you had so much fun showing her your new room.

G just said to me “mom I’m not trying to hurt your feelings but I want to go to bed alone tonight. I will miss you. You can come check on me later I will just be reading my books and going to sleep”

She already ran out to get me bc there’s vampires in her room 😂

Moving Day!

you woke up so excited to move! you were so helpful and good through this entire process. Ms Sandy picked you up and took you to fancy breakfast and to Summerfield Park while we loaded up the house

fell asleep in the car on on our way back to molly to grab food from the fridge. we let you sleep in the car & you came in about 20 minutes later then you curled up on the floor and fell back to sleep

we immediately went home. I tried to get you to bed at 7:15p. of course all the sudden you were starving so you had a snack.
you wanted bith daddy and I to read to you you had him read the steelers football book. he went overr each letter and the corrssponding football terms then woukd ask tou ”can you thin of a word that starts witg that letted?” When he got to C, you said ”Collodial Silver” and we both cracked up immediately. Not Cat… Colloidal Silver lol!

it took a little bit for you to settle down and go to sleep but you finally did and you were so peaceful. I cant wait to get in the new house but I’m glad you are settling in nicely for now.

took a break from packing and went to fancy breakfast

Did great helping to pack and handling the move had a few accidents the last couple of weeks with the hurricane and moving but you have done really well

loved playing jn and with moving boxes all month

in bed we were reading the little kids first big book of why when ingot to the page about gravity you said ”wait a minute and let me explain something then you can read.”

you snuggled up and said Mommy i love you good night and drifted off to sleep for the last time in the only room you have ever known! you have rolled with the punches and taken all the changes with the new house being delayed and having to move twice so well.

10/7/22

I couldn’t get you to leave the house all day. I wanted to run some errands but you just didn’t want to go so we stayed home and I packed. You rode your bike and we had a picnic lunch outside on the driveway.
Marina came over after work and helped me

move boxes while you stayed with Daddy. We met you at the chicken truck to get dinner.

Soooo I’m not ok G is biking the neighborhood with some kids

I mean we did it all the time
But it feels different with her

I’m staring at the other side of the street. They just rode by together with their dog
She stopped by to tell me that she drank her water and asked if she could go another lap
She’s never done anything like this without one of us
