10/26/22 – Spooky Trail

Today after school, we ran in to drop off the photo backdrop props to Ms. Marchese. I saw you work on the wall where all the kids decided what Ms. Marchese should dress up as for Halloween. Some kids said Queen – yours said “skeleton because she is boney!” I immediately forwarded to everyone including Ms. Wolleon and was cracking up. We headed to my office to meet Ms. Sandy for dinner and then headed to Selby gardens at Spanish Point for their spooky walk. We had so much fun and a few of the decorations got you good! You flew away squealing! We grabbed hot chocolate and headed home. It was a late night but so worth it!

10/25/22

Little Medical School graduation was tonight. Aunt Deb, Ms. Sandy and Grandma Weezie came to see you. We are all so proud of you. Afterward, Ms Sandy came with us to get ice cream at Main Street Creamery then we walked to Patrick’s for dinner. We headed out to the condo and hit the bed as soon as we got there. You were up so late last night that you were snoring after one shark video!

10/23/22

Went to Fruitville Grove. Kissed and held the alligator! Went to Michael’s to get some Halloween supplies and ended up painting rocks with the staff. Then we went to Capital Grille for Dinner. You told me “we aren’t dressed for Capital Grille. Well I’m actually pretty fancy in my Moana costume, but you have yoga pants and aren’t fancy!”

Played at the new Bay Park. Met Chrissy & Olivia for pizza making at Caragiulos. Then went to Ed Smith Stadium to meet Jennie and Eva Deva to watch Coco in the outfield. You had a blast running around and playing. You and Eva hardly watched the movie. Olivia sat like a statue glued to the movie lol.

10/21/22

Went to the new Bay Park after school for Boo at the Bay. They had trick or treating, pumpkin painting, games and were showing the movie Hocus Pocus. You told me in the car on the way “I haven’t watched Hocus Pocus in YEARS! I mean, I’ve watched it, but it’s been years!” We saw Kye Gourley from school there and you played with him and sat with him during the movie.

Woke up so excited to see what the tooth fairy brought. She gave you a Starbucks gift card & mentioned in her letter to you that she knew you weren’t allowed to get any more stuff until after you move! So we left early for school so we would have time to go to Starbucks. The lady gave you a free hot chocolate for your tooth. We sat outside and Facetimed Ms. Sandy so she could see your missing tooth!

10/16/22 – No Filter Needed

This morning you woke up way earlier than you should have given how late you went to bed – around 8a. I got up and you immediately got dressed in your swim suit and wanted to know where Jimmey was. You wanted to have your breakfast down by the pool so we did. When you finished, we went down tot he beach for a bit and shortly after, Jimmey and his family joined us. You played hard all day. The water was a little chilly so Jimmey had you up to his unit to play while Daddy & Burt watched football. You guys were so good and played so nicely. We all had dinner together then we went down to the beach for sunset. Tonight it was incredible and it felt so good to watch it. We headed upstairs, showered and played a couple games of Trouble. Sunday Night Football came on nd in an effort to stall going to bed, you asked if you could snuggle with me, grabbed a blanket and climbed into my lap on the couch. In 10 minutes, you and Daddy were both snoring…Hank too! I let you sleep for about 15 minutes and then I picked you up to take you to your room. You woke up a little and started saying “no no no” even grabbing the wall to avoid going into your room. I laid you on the bed and you immediately went back to sleep. I knew it would be an early night after not getting enough sleep last night.
