11/14/22

I had to wake you up at 8:15a after sleeping hard all night. You were excited to show Ms. Wolleon your new ankle bracelet today so you marched confidently into school. When I picked you up, you sat on the side of the car hanging your foot out the window to show Officer Mark your new ankle bracelet lol. I told you they did our outdoor ceilings today and you were so excited that we stopped by the house to check on the progress.

On the way home, you asked if we could meet Jimmey at Salty Dog again tonight for dinner. Instead, we went to the condo to cook. I forgot we didn’t have any milk so we had to run back out. You made a grocery list and kept track of everything we needed. We Facetimed Ms. Sandy and Daddy before heading to bed. Surprisingly, tonight you wanted to sleep in your room instead of with me. You were out after one meditation. I love you so much!

11/13/22

You were up early for as late as you went to bed last night, it was around 11p! We dropped Daddy at the airport for a quick work trip then we met Ms. Sandy for lunch. After that we went to the Siesta Key Crystal Classic with her to check out the sand sculptures. You got an ankle bracelet with a sea turtle and couldn’t take it you were so excited.

We stopped at Publix before heading back to the condo and when we were bringing everything upstairs, the Romanoffs were getting ready to leave for dinner. They invited us to join them at the Salty Dog. You were so excited and insisted on riding in their car. We took the dogs out to pee then headed out to dinner. I asked you if you were even hungry yet as it was a little early for dinner. You replied “C’mon Mom…I’m ALWAYS hungry! You know that!” lol. Awwww

11/7/22 – Can We Snuggle?

This morning, I had to take Harold to the vet and you slept in. Daddy finally got you to wake up and once you did, you did all your jobs without him having to ask. I met you guys on the way to school to give you a donut to take into school!

When I picked you up, all the kids were loving on Hank. We went to pick Harold up at the vet & Dr. Sego came out to talk to us. I was upset because the prognosis didn’t sound good. You hugged me and comforted me and said “Mama, does Harold have cancer?” I said, “we don’t know yet until the results of his tests come back tomorrow.” You replied, “well if he does, it’s ok. It’s his body and he will know.”

We met Chrissy, Olivia & Daddy at Grandma Noot’s and we went to Mi Pueblo for dinner. You went up to the Mariachi band and asked them to sing happy birthday to me! We stopped back at Grandma Noot’s house to get the dogs and Chrissy trimmed your hair before heading back to the condo and to bed. We got home later than I wanted, but when we climbed into bed, you said “mama, can we snuggle?” I said I would love that. You curled up in my arms and were snoring in minutes.
